  The Wildehondekloof is an amazing attraction that will call me back many a time. Nothing can soothe the mind as much as a luxury stay in the beauty of nature itself, superb hospitality and mouthwatering meals. All this summarizes our stay in one word: Excellence.   What an amazing stay! Absolutely stunning accommodation and delicious food! We felt só at home. The birdlife is good and the game drive and subdowner drive was stunning. The staff are incredibly friendly! Thank you Paula and Pottie! We will be back!

  Heaven on earth

  when you need to go and relax and experience real South African hospitality you can do yourself a favor and visit Wildehondekloof. Arriving to an extremely friendly face with a hot towel and a complimentary drink was a great experience, we moved on to our spacious, very neat and clean room with the most amazing view. Everything that is needed in the room, aircon, water, sherry, toiletries and so much more. Our first dinner was outside while the buck peacefully graced while we enjoyed our first meal.... I was concerned, how would they be able to better the dinner we had on the first night, the food was amazing, it just got better as we stayed longer, from the best homemade pumpkin fritters, homemade beetroot soup to the most define apple crumble ever. Lying at the pool enjoying the amazing swimming pool that is clean with service from the kitchen was an extra bonus. The game drive (Quinton), was the most amazing guide, stopping and sharing all his knowledge, stopping for some coffee and some rusks! I saw my favorite animal Mr Giraffe, if you need to go and relax and recharge your batteries, do yourself a favor and book a weekend away or do what we did and stay for 4 days - when you leave you will forever be part of the Wildehondekloof family. The host/owner Paula is an absolute gem and she is there to make your stay extra special, every interaction we had with her she was either asking what she can do or what we need. The service/food/location 10 out of 10. Cant wait to go back! Spoil yourself and go an experience this Gem, one of a kind!
