UnpleasantThe confirmation clearly stated 2 adults and two children. Only three beds were available in the room. The "solution" of the front desk was to put two beds together and sleep in them with 3 people. I demanded to change rooms. Costed me over 70% extra for a room with a sofabed and a double bed (which is full price for this room). We considered sleeping in the car. I didn't expect a lot but this wasn't even funny anymore. The door didn't fit, one of the "free bottles of water" was already consumed when we arrived, the closet was locked but open (you can't close it anymore), everything creaks and squeaks. The side skirts of the bed were heavily stained. All furniture was chipped, cracked and the veneer pealed off. Smell wasn't too good either. We got out of there as fast as possible after checking in. Left as soon as we could in the morning. I consider myself lucky I only booked one night. I could have booked a real hotel with what I paid in the end. We REALLY got the feeling that people booking through external parties were given the "not renovated yet" (their excuse since at least 2014) rooms and local people got the rooms on the first two floors (renovated). They were also a bit too eager to charge us extra for the "right" room and didn't even apologize once. Almost as if it's a system. The pictures don't do it justice as I had to leave in a hurry, check out the pictures of other users to get a better idea. Positive points: the electricity kinda worked, the bed sheets were clean and the free wifi was ok. Parking is available on site. Even if the hotel parking is full you can park basically anywhere around the premises.

Decent enough hotel, Staff have poor EnglishHad an okay stay at the Wieniawa Hotel. Had some trouble unlocking my door whilst first getting into my room, and then again whilst coming back from a trip, so went to reception. The woman on reception was trying to be helpful, however, she really struggled to understnad me (however, I think it may have been my strong Lancashire accent!). She then got one of her male colleagues to come to my room to sort out the problem. He managed to open my door, however, he was very rude when I asked to move rooms (as there was obviously a fault with the door handle as it was very loose). I decided to stay in my room, as I was very tired from travelling, and didn't need to further contact the desk, apart from to check out. Overall, it was a cheap place to stay, with ample amenities. Just hope there is no problems with the room!

It would be a five but....I travel with the groups all over Poland as a tour guide and that was my first stay at Wieniawa. Room was large and clean staff extremely helpful and polite. The only one thing upset me : I ordedered a meal at the restaurant and I was awaiting for half an hour to get main dish as the waitresses checked probablt their Facebook"s profiles. I know they"re young but the restaurant was empty ( there was me and another guy) but at least they were at work ...

Old but cleanNot impressive, but still ok for the price. The rooms are a bit old, but the place is quite clean. 5 min walk from the tram station and 15 from the sky tower. There are a few shops nearby and also a 24h shop for alcoholic drinks.
