    Good location

    Located at the business district of Manado, just in walking distance to the restaurants, cafes and shopping malls. The room and hotel amenities are whizprime standard. Lighting in the room is well designed yet it needs a bit effort to make water does not sprinkel out of the bathroom

    Very bad service

    I was stay here for 4 nights, i did a very late checkin because i have to meet people first so i felt so tired. But when I'm checked in, the reception gave me a room that someone already inside (double checkin). Can you imagine when you felt so tired and you have to come down to change the room. And the reception didn't do apologize or even say sorry. The second night i can't used WiFi, so i call reception and engineering come to my room and he said "it's because the roomboy used your WiFi id, so you've been blocked", it's very bad. I have to wait for 3 hours until he fixed the WiFi. On the third day, there's someone came in to my room. I don't know how he can open the door. I think the reception gave a wrong key to him. And after i finished my work, i come back to the hotel. I can't open my room, the key was blocked. So i have to come down to reception, and he gave me a new key but it's still not working. So I have to come down AGAIN to reception. It's really really bad. So i call the manager and ask him to accompany me to the room, but he asked engineering to escort me. but the engineering still can't open the door, so i have to wait AGAIN. Finally the front office staff come and offering me to move my room. But until I am checking out, there's no apology letters or even courtesy call. There's no recovery service. For me it's a very bad service. The only thing that i love about this hotel is the location, so I'll come back again later, but i hope that when i came back, it'll not happen again.

    Spit on the floor, first time ever!!!!

    We arrive at 10 am and been told to come back after 2 pm for check in, fine. We left the bags at the concierge. Check in was done at 4 pm and we were given a room at the 6th floor. Entering the room we notice the bed linen were stained, the pillow covers also stained, hair on the bathroom and a someone spit on the floor. Disgusting.... clearly the room wasn't properly clean. After complaining at the reception they gave us another room. Worst experience ever in an Hotel in Manado. I work here and I visited many hotel/guesthouses in the city even of lower level and never happened to find spit on the floor. Cleaning service is done by few young boys clearly not up to the job... managment didn't check. Will never come back, avoid this hotel in Manado.

    Worst stay ever

    I checked in late around 11PM and hoping to get a good night rest because I have morning flight to catch. Since it was near the beach and shopping area closed already I thought should be peaceful. Instead it was not peaceful at all. The room no hot water and water pressure is terrible. The bathroom door could not be locked (broken) noises from outside sounds very loud. It was not a quite room at all. I basically could not sleep all night until my time to check out. I asked for extra pillow, I had to call 3 times to get it and it took an hour to get it delivered to my room. I would never stay in that hotel again for sure.

    Good location , OK price, quite good room , after complaint, lousy reception, bad pool area

    Hotel frequently seems to do cheap lastminute prices out of peak season, so then this hotel can be quite good value IF you get a good room, and if you dont have very high expectations and want a good central seafront location in Manado. Location is best thing about this hotel. Reception staff very new / inexperienced , overrun with guests checking in and checking out, and very inflexible attitude. Check in 2pm NOT before!! Breakfast was poor quality with very few options, and replenishing the buffet breakfast was very slow.Not enough breakfast tables for guests at peak times. Breakfast is by the very small pool area that is not much better than a big plunge pool. I complained about the bedroom and then they gave me a room just above the wall of the church, but i could see a little sea, the sun and the sky! this high floor room didnt smell and was very nice and clean. (if you get these rooms then this hotel is quite good value) 2 major issues with this hotel 1) it is very clear they try to give foreigners very bad rooms - My 1st room smelt of a mixture of durian fruit and bad drains... they tried to disguise the smell with some cheap perfume type spray. There was a view of the wall of the church wall about 4 metres away from the bedroom window . you could not see the sun, sea or sky. the hotel was not fully booked. 2) There are lots of special offers and credit card discounts for Indonesian guests only (more than any other Indonesian hotel I have visited before)Locals can pay a lot less than a foreigner pays and they seem to get far better rooms on a high floor with good views (this is what i witnessed) and quicker service at reception. This should be an Indonesian only hotel.
