  Jack - Hotel Booking experience

  I wanted to book something nice for my daughter, for her birthday as well as a thank you for her care towards her brother and in her role as a clinical support worker within the NHS. I spoke with staff member Jack on a couple of occasions, he was so helpful, polite and helped me with the choice of break I wanted for my daughter. It makes such a difference when staff go that extra mile to help and this is what Jack did. Thank you Jack you have been most kind .... Mrs H

  Takeaway Food

  Thank you for making it possible to make my sisters Birthday special. It was fantastic to be able to get restaurant quality food at home and especially from your establishment as it has always been a pleasure when weve visit for your Lets do Lunch events. The man who delivered our food to our car was very friendly and professional, made the transaction safe in accordance with social distancing. Our food was still hot when we took our order home. Delicious. Highlight recommend the mushroom starter, Chicken Curry and the sticky toffee pudding, fantastic amount of custard too. Also, great to see that all the packaging is recyclable and biodegradable. We will be back again.

  Hotel stay during covid19

  We booked a room for one night prior to a family funeral. The staff were very kind and understanding. The measures against Covid were exemplary, we felt very safe. Food was room service only due to social distancing, this was also excellent and presented very well. The room was overlooking a small lake, it was so nice to look out onto and of course the Peacocks walking around are so pleasant to watch. We would highly recommended staying here and we are hopeful to do so in happier/safer times.

  Pleasant, efficient visit

  Well executed and thought out Covid measures, clean, friendly, comfortable room in modern annex with clean and effective bathroom and controllable heating. Also with reasonable room service offering too.

  Necessary travel in lockdown

  Staff were really helpful and understanding of my reason for travelling. They gave me a room that would not be used the same day so that I could be flexible in my departure time. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The view over the lake was a real treat. The 'breakfast to go' was a feast and ready for me at the agreed time. Nothing was too much trouble.
