  Average but Good Value

  We planned a couple of nights tent camping in Hinton but it was raining when we arrived so we decided to look for a room instead. This room had a good comfortable bed with good bedding a good sized fridge and microwave. The décor of the hotel is somewhat off putting however. The exterior probably seemed like a good idea in the 70s but could do with an update. The room is a mixed bag. The furniture is standard hotel issue so no real problems there, but the artwork is twee and very dated and the curtains are horrible. The hotel has clearly had some upgrades including the bathroom and a few more would make the world of difference. Breakfast wasnt bad, but wasnt great either. A number of food/drink items were empty for some time before being replenished. It wasnt a bad stay but next time in Hinton Id look for a nicer room although this room was good value for money.

  Worst stay ever!

  If I could give no stars I would have. Unfortunately this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We checked in late and were very tired so we did not notice the extent of how disgusting our room was until the morning. It looked like the room hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. There was significant black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, a dirty hand print on the wall, most of the other walls were dirty and one had what appeared to be dried coffee running down it. The floors werent vacuumed and very dirty, there were crumbs on the surface of the dresser, the coffee maker was filthy and there was hair in the tub/shower. Pretty much every surface was covered in dust, and I took photos to prove it. The housekeeper also came knocking at our door at 6:20 am, right after my husband went out to take our dog for a walk, which I found quite inappropriate. I went down to the front desk to complain the next morning at the man there could not have cared less and would not answer any of my questions as to why it was so dirty or offer to change us rooms. We inevitably checked out right then forfeiting our second night as we could not stomach another night there. I will never stay there again.

  Reasonable rates with Great Service

  I was not expecting as much as I got. The rates are very reasonable and the quality of the rooms is better than the rating it gets. Joseph was really accommodation and very helpful. I will be going back.

  This was our first hotel on our road trip through to the island. To start with we were given a room where the bathroom door handle was hanging off, we let them know and they swiftly changed our rooms to next door which was great. We had booked for 4 people but we were only given 2 towels and even those were thread bare, luckily we grabbed the two from the first room. The beds were terrible, every time you moved they made a noise, think they had those plastic covers on them, ugh not nice. The bathroom was ok but the toilet didnt flush very well. The carpet was sticky in a few places too. Im afraid we wouldnt stay here again as we literally got no sleep at all due to the noise every time someone moved. There was no breakfast included, maybe a bonus.

  I DONT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL......

  rates changed up n down ...rooms were worn n dirty...had to go to office everyday to scan your key card or youd be locked out ...didnt matter that owner lives there n other employees you would be locked out till they opened...never no service had to go to office for everything...honeymoon room was cheaper than mine ..? i was harrassed daily asking if i staying won moo nite...they dont offer you any type of long term deal...jus give you runnaround ...not a nice place....i do not recomend this place at all......
