  Fantastic guesthouse.

  Very peaceful and quite. Comfortable bed. Free breakfast. Friendly owner and staff. I can't say enough good things about it. Had my best sleep here in years. Close to food shops and 711 and not far from all the attractions. Has a big patio on the top floor with all sorts of quiant nooks and crannies. I was very impressed with the value and stayed an additional 2 days because I liked it so much. Will defenately return, and is my place of preference to stay now in Phetburi. They even reserved a parking spot for me right infront of the door with my name on it! These guys do bend over backwards to make you welcome. I'm very happy with my stay, I also work with the hotel industry by trade, so me being impressed is saying that they are doing it right.

  Perfect place to discover Phetchaburi!

  We arrived 8 hours late due to our flight being delayed and were immediately made to feel really welcome and shown to our lovely room. The White Monkey is clean, fresh, and has everything we wanted for our our time in Phetchaburi. The fridge and air con worked well and the ensuite bathroom was well equipped. The communal areas were comfortable and we found it great value for money. The staff were helpful and kind and the guesthouse is located in a quiet street that is handy for temples, markets, coffee shops and restaurants. We are already planning to return to Phetchaburi, and we definitely hope to stay at the White Monkey again!

  A positive guesthouse

  1. IMO Agoda and the other booking sites charge too much, a WHOPPING 15%. This is unacceptable period for a small business. I enquired how a guest house could avoid this and the only solution so far, book independently via e-mail. 2. Much to do and see in Phetchaburi, and the guest house was a GREAT place to call home if only for two nites. 3. The firm bed was to my liking but as the story goes with Goldie and the Three Bears, can't please everyone. 4. I passed on the option to use the aircon unit and went with a fan. 5. There is a laudry machine, 40B or you could wash clothes in the utility sink. 6. Nice folks.

  Great place to experience Phetchaburi

  The Guesthouse is well located on a quiet historic Soi near the Phetchaburi River. Clean! Quiet! Fantastic staff! The balconies are a great place to relax and hang out. Close to all the sites. Bikes a little dated, but free!

  Great base in centre of town

  Stayed 3 nights. Pros = Large room. Cleanliness. Helpful staff. Quiet. Value for money. Negatives = Room B1 at top of building. The 3 flights of stairs were no problem for me, but may be an issue for some. No breakfast, but can make yourself tea/coffee in ground floor kitchen area. Tips = Breakfast can be brougt locally as close to good eateries where locals queued for breakfast. Also couple of nice coffee shops (one adjacent to 7/11 in heritage building). The 7/11 is very close. Good restaurant 50m from Guest House, turn right onto road leading over bridge. Restaurant by side of bridge before you cross. Overall = I would definately stay there again.
