Hosts are friendly and work hard for you to enjoy your stay! You will love BREAKFASTMade reservations ages ago for our stay last week and updated it to come in early which they accommodated, no problem. The owner even called me back to verify. He is a writer (among many other things) and a copy of his signed book made my husband's stay. Very interesting knowledgable man! We handled most of our plans with the main host, his daughter, Lisa. She was so friendly and interesting to talk with, plus she spoke 3 different languages to different guests while we were there eating breakfast! The conversations were always lively and so interesting, sometimes we had a hard time leaving. Lisa's breakfasts were incredible. If you want eggs you'll get them anyway you want - and she's very generous, plus there is a huge buffet table of cereals, breads, muffins, yogurts, jams, spreads, butter, fruits, juices, teas, coffees-- wow - so much. Plus, I was not expecting a hot breakfast!! Our room was upgraded to a bigger one when we added another night, and we loved that room. It was #2. We had to go to several pre-wedding functions before the big wedding and there was PLENTY of room to hang our clothes, and get dressed. The rooms were full of antiques and so many volumes of books that we enjoyed scanning the titles and looking at some of the art books. One guest played the grand piano while we were dressing for the wedding and that lent a treasured memory. The gardens are just beautiful, and you must go outside and soak in the sun and enjoy them. One night we returned so late and I saw that they have a side table upstairs in a long hallway with teas and coffees and cookies etc so we enjoyed that one evening. If you need an ironing board they are by that tea/coffee snack table upstairs. . Oh, there's a movie about the Inn from the Travel channel. She (Lisa) will show it to you if you ask her. It's on DVD. The Owner, Richard was in the film. Also, The stairs were not difficult even though we're Seniors, and there was an employee who helped us take our heavy bag down when we were checking out. I hated to leave, we had so much fun there. We would like to return when we visit Tanglewood & the BSO. Oh don't forget to ask about their precious doggie - Holly. What a cutie!!

Charming historyWe stayed here for our first night in the Berkshires. Charmed by our hosts Lisa and Richard who made the stay special. An amazing house, almost like staying in a museum. Will hope to return and spend longer over breakfast. Thank you.

Hidden GemMy husband and I stayed here for our first visit to the Berkshires. This is truly a lovely place. There are lots of wonderful books to read all throughout the property. We were so impressed with the kindness of the owners. Lisa, one of the owners and hosts greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our beautiful room. She was so helpful and knowledgable about the area and recommended places to visit. The location is excellent. My husband and I were able to walk to the village for dinner. In the morning the hosts served a wonderful breakfast. We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful PlaceThis Bed and Breakfast is a place that time forgot. Antiques are throughout the rooms. It's cozy and comfortable elegance made it the perfect place to stay. The owner, Richard is very fascinating to talk to. He and his wife, along with their daughter Lisa were always making sure you had everything you needed. Our room, Mr. Whistler's Room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Lovely furnishings and decorative touches are everywhere. There smaller rooms and an area on the property to room. Breakfast varied from scrambled eggs breakfast potatoes, hard boiled eggs, nut bread, cereals, large assortment of fresh fruits, bagels, breads, juices and jams. It's self served, take the food and sit at the majestic long dining table, or smaller tables and converse and enjoy each others company. Other common areas are the library and the music room or sit in the back enjoying a game of badminton. 7 acre property is easily located, walking distance to a huge selection of restaurants and shops. Tanglewood is down the road, close to all the sites. Hosts are helpful with suggestions of places of interest. There are TVs and Wifi and ACs in the rooms. Lots of the sites close up in late October. The Inn is also closed in winter. I enjoyed my stay, loved talking to our hosts and seeing all the sites. Can't wait to come back again!

Awesome place and hosts!!The house is amazing, very cozy and with plenty space for chatting and feel at home. The location is also great; at a walking distance from restaurants and the main street. Lisa made our stay very pleasant, she is very friendly and warm. She spoke with us in Spanish, which made us feel welcome, and recommended restaurants and routes to go for scenic views. We had a great stay. I definitely recommend this place!!
