  Great Place to Stay

  Fantastic B&B, the bedroom was lovely, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Mike and Lynn are great hosts, gave us lots of information on where to go and where to eat. Breakfast was lovely , home made granola compotes and a delicious full english cooked by Mike with homemade freshly baked bread. What a gem. We are really looking forward to another visit Joe and Sue Bailey

  Exceptional

  Stayed at Wheatlands Lodge for four nights at end of October. Accommodation is just perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and breakfast cooked to perfection. Mike and Lynn very knowledgeable for local walks and restaurants and obviously pride themselves with high standards, highly recommended. Great location for Windermere village. Thanks for a great break Lynn and Mike.

  Excellent

  Stayed for my husbands 40th birthday and so glad we booked here. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spotless clean with a lovely jacuzzi bath to add to the luxury feel. Loved having a coffee machine in the room with Starbucks pods!! Breakfast was delicious and the homemade granola was amazing served in little pots with yoghurt and jam. A two minute walk to Windermere centre and 20 minutes into bowness perfectly located! Lynn and Mike were wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable of the local area always on hand to help and give advice. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

  Anniversary mini break.

  Myself and my husband stayed here, as we always do, for our anniversary celebrations. However, it was our first time staying since the New owners (Mike and Lynn) had taken over. They were wonderful hosts, the hotel was immaculately presented and yet superbly cosy, our room had beautiful views of the garden. Lynn gave us some lovely ideas for a local walking route that we had never tried before, and it was a brilliant route! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will book again very soon, already looking forward to coming back. Thanks again for a lovely stay at your wonderful hotel.

  Great break and wonderful location

  Stayed here in December just before Lockdown and the new owners Lynn and Mike were very hospitable, knowledgeable about the local area with good advice for walks and local restaurants. Rooms were good and the bed was very comfortable. Their breakfast was really good and Id stay here again purely for their breakfast, hospitality and the great location.
