  Great place to stay in Shanghai

  5* accommodation in Shanghai. Happened to be there on a business visit in December 2016 and stayed 4 nights there in BB basis. Highly recommended if you're not looking for a budget stay in the city of Shanghai. Located by the side is a lovely lake and a jogging path.

  Very Good Hotel, but not 100% perfect!

  We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during a business trip. Hotel lobby and design of public area is really nice. Room was also OK, nice bathroom and convinient bed. Quality of food was also nice in its restaurant. View of my room was to a park with a nice lake, it was pleasant. But the only problem we had was speed of check in and check out. It took unexpected time for readiness of rooms and check in, and onther long time for check out! This was nice for a 5-star hotel. And finally, with the rates of this hotel, I was in a really better hotels in Shanghai, so prices of this hotel is a little bit high.

  Fabulous lakeview

  A wonderful hotel, really top notch, rooms were five star luxury with a great lakeview. The included breakfast was really fabulous and the price is much more reasonable than the nearby Hyatt, highly recommended.

  Secret Garden Hotel

  Suprisingly high views above lake is just like a secrete garden home hiding behind the Shanghai high towers' jungle.This small boutique is full of surprise for travellers looking for priceless views of garden , water and greens. The in-house chapel for weddings certainly is another landmark. Not mention the fruitful breakfast buffet and spaciously luxury interior designs had overriden the limited service for more and more international guests.

  Good quality hotel

  Nicely appointed rooms. We stayed on the 18th floor with a nice view over the park. Breakfast buffet was of a good standard with a range of foods to cater for Chinese and Western tastes. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the meal we had in the 5th floor Shanghai Min restaurant. The food was good but the service was appalling for the price. It was over staffed and the staff were clearly bored and disinterested accordingly. Busy massaging each other shoulders talking and joking with each other and standing around looking at their phones. Not interested in the three tables of guests. It wasnt busy and there were more than six waiting staff in the dining room. I had to get up and pour tea four times for the people in our party as the staff were completely inattentive to the guests. When placing the tea pot on the table they pointed the spout at towards the guests rather than away (simple Chinese etiquette ignored). The dining room was in need of refreshing. The carpet was in very poor condition. Overall I would give this place a miss there are much better places to eat and spend your money.
