  A little gem in the hills

  We had a wonderful time at Bob's Place. Its a little gem of a place tucked in the hills. We stayed there for almost a week. The staff here was extra courteous and super helpful. Even in the middle of Covid scenario the staff ensured all the best of services to us. Food was really tasty - simple and healthy. There are little treks and hikes around to explore and enjoy. A real stress buster and place to recoup and gain back peace of mind. The place is about 40 odd Kms away from hustle-bustle of Nainital and provides a succor to weary and stressed souls...a must visit. ~ Neha and Abhilash

  Heavenly abode...our 5th Visit !!!

  What an amazing 5th visit to our Home Away From Home and we just cant get enough of Bobs Place. Leaving aside the brick, mortar and the heavenly surroundings, its the soul of the place that drives us back again and again. Kishan ji and his team which includes Maya, Sushil, Mahesh and Girsh make the place tick and ensure every need is well taken care of. It's hospitality straight from the heart.   Beautiful getaway

  Nested in the midst of nature, warm cosy cottages, beautiful scenic views, good service and great hosts. What more can you ask for...just to get back there again. My first visit but surely more to follow. Bob's place is a delight if you're looking for a 'pause and relax' kind of a break in this beautiful self sufficient abode. Bob and Punam make for excellent hosts and we would love to get back during the blossom season to see their place in full bloom. If you love nature, want a real getaway, in a quiet pretty place, Bobs is where your search should start and stop.

  A recommendation worth exploring

  I travelled to this place alongwith my friend in Nov, it was a delight to spend 3 days in the lap of nature surrounded by all comforts one can think of in the hills. This place has a billiards/pool table ,can you believe that!!!!....nestled in the quaint village of Nathuakhan, if one is looking at a peaceful getaway, a home away from home, then this is a must visit. Bob is a generous host n so are his staff members.The only dampener to this trip was the non veg meal that was served to a staunch vegetarian like me, however I hope they will work on this. Bob and his staff apologized for the blunder. Bob and his property caretaker were very prompt and responsive and the reservation process n check out were effortless

  Pleasant stay ! A MUCH NEEDED BREAK and a great start to new year:)

  We stayed at Bob's place from 31st-03rd. I can say that it was a pleasant stay...There were no issues at all. We were initially told that for barbecue each room has to pay extra but somehow the staff never charged us and gave us complimentary barbeque. In our package, only breakfast and dinner were included but since it was the 1st day of the new year, the staff also gave us complimentary lunch. The breakfast was not a full spread buffet, there were 1-2 veg dishes and omelets but we were satisfied with less variety as the food was absolutely delicious. It was so satiating. The staff was extremely hospitable especially, Krishna Ji, Sushil Ji, Mahesh ji. We can expect housekeeping from proper hotels but the good part about this place was that every morning 2 helpers used to come and tidy up the room and change waterbottles. It was a plus point for us. If I have to point out things that can be improved, those would be: 1. Doors. Doors are quite old and worn off 2. Wifi connection. I didn't need it at all but there were some young kids with us who rely on clicking pics and uploading them instantly. Hence, they faced major issues. All-in-all, It was an awesome getaway.
