  First B&B for us!

  My wife and I had never stayed at a B&B before, but wanted to do something different for our 5 year anniversary. After getting over the fear of staying in a strangers house, we chose to stay at the Westport Bayside B&B. Rich greeted us when we arrived like we were old friends and it made the uneasiness vanish. He proceeded to give us a tour of the home while we munched on some homemade oatmeal raisin cookies, yum! The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell Rich and Tracy take great care of this place! We were in town to take a boat cruise, which unfortunately was canceled due to rough seas. Rich was very helpful in giving us some suggestions on what to do instead and we found the pirate days going on down at the marina. He also suggested some great places for dinner, and his reviews were spot on. There is a nice trail in the back of the property that has been cut out of the woods and leads to the edge of the bay. Theyve set up two chairs out there were you can sit in serenity and just relax. It was a cool evening, so we didnt sit out there long, but could have spent all night out there. We are very picky when it comes to beds and this was by far the most comfortable bed weve slept in, soft yet firm. The bathroom was very bright and roomy with a nice beach theme. In the morning, we got to meet Tracy and taste the delicious breakfast they made. The homemade granola and fresh berries were a great start and could have been the whole breakfast itself. Then they followed it up with an apple puffed pancake and homemade sausage. The sausage was the best weve ever tasted, keep making it Tracy! The puffed pancake was very moist and the right amount of sweetness that it didnt need syrup. Overall, it was a great experience and opened us up to the B&B world, but its going to be very hard for our next adventure to live up to Rich and Tracys standards! We will definitely be back next time we are in Westport.

  A definate must stay.

  When my wife and I showed up an hour early for check in there was no problem. Everything was ready and we were greeted at the door by Tracy. She brought us in to the aroma of fresh baked cookies in the oven. She gave us a tour of the place, and after that Richard gave us some cookies. They are the nicest people you will meet. Our room was awesome and the beds very comfortable. Richard went out of his way to ask if we had any food allergies or gluten issues for breakfast. The food was amazing and the portions were good. We liked eating with the other guests and getting to know new people, (we sat and talked for at least an hour after breakfast was over). Richard and Tracy work very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible and do a great job. We will go back and have already been telling our friends and family about it.

  Best part of the trip

  We loved our stay at the Bayside B&B. The proprietors, Richard and Tracy, were very warm and welcoming right from the start. They made us feel like family. Everything was clean and orderly and Richard and Tracy have a very professional level of care. Our room was very nice. The food was absolutely wonderful- truly gourmet cooking! We would recommend the Bayside to anyone. Great experience! home and

  Washington Getaway!!!

  What a wonderful Bed & Breakfast!!! The hosts were very friendly and kind. Definitely worth returning to. It's a perfect getaway spot for anyone. We really enjoyed the walk to the bay and sitting, admiring the view. The hosts each night filled the cookie jar and offered ALL varieties of tea. Breakfast was presented wonderfully and taste even better! LOVED IT!

  What a Great place!!

  Warm and cozy atmosphere! Highly recommended for couples looking to get away and take it easy! Richard and Tracy are exceptional hosts and do a great job making you feel at home! This experience will be sure to have you feeling pampered and revived by the end of your stay!
