  relaxing stay , friendly staff

  We spent a relaxing night at this lovely hotel, the Lobby is bright and welcoming , The rooms are re vamped and modern and warn , with everything you could need . The staff are friendly from check in to bar and restaurant staff . We had mushroom soup and some of the nicest brown bread , then our dinner that night had the most succulent roast beef , i was ashamed to say i couldn't finish it . The breakfast is served overlooking the scenery of Bantry Bay . The Full Irish is freshly cooked and served by some of the Friendliest girls , and more of that scrumptious brown bread . I am looking forward to going back soon .

  Christmas experience Weekend

  To Mark and all your staff, Thank you for giving us a lovely jam packed weekend. We have a 2, 4 and 6 year old and it was perfect for them. Food was amazing on all occasions. Staff were welcoming and friendly with the kids. From the elfs, to Mrs clause, to Santa's visit, the Irish dancers and the swimming pool the kids had a memorable weekend. And for that, thank you! We have been to the hotel before and will be back again. Wishing you all in West Cork a Merry Christmas and the success you deserve for the new year.

  Excellent place to spend some time near Bantry

  I have just arrived from being 21 days in the hotel and both the staff and the facilities are very good. They have very cozy cotagges, swimming pool, gym, a good restaurant and very good attention from their staff. I highly recommend it

  Fantastic hotel with it all

  I stayed in the Westlodge in December with a group of friends & we had a fantastic weekend. I cant say enough about this hotel & its staff. Where to start? The hotel itself is stunning with a huge welcoming reception area & lovely stove & comfy couch area by reception. The mulled wine on entry was a lovely warming surprise on a winters evening. Staff were all super friendly & helpful. The hotel was spotless & they really couldnt do more to keep everyone Covid safe. Our room was lovely & looked to have been recently renovated. & the food, it was divine, everything was so delicious, everyone in our party was raving about the food. The views from the spacious restaurant were amazing with views across Bantry in 3 different directions. The hotel has a leisure centre with a big pool & lovely big jacuzzi. I didnt use the gym so cant comment on that. There was an elves workshop in a cottage on the grounds where you could visit Mrs Claus & enjoy a hot chocolate, it was great for kids but us adults enjoyed it too! On top of that Santa Claus visited on the Sunday to the delight of all kids. The grounds are huge for walking around too with lots of mature trees. All in all I look forward to returning to this hotel & would totally recommend it for a relaxing break away in West Cork.

  Ourstay here

  We stayed in the chalet & found it rather grotty. Dirt on walls, and shower basin didn't empty. The staff were friendly, but the grottiness of parts of the hotel was shambolic, for example the play room. We will be going back to stay at the maritime.
