    Vistas espectaculares

Lugar tranquilo perfectamente integrado en el medio, habitaciones amplias y con vistas a los fiordos. Hay aparcamiento gratuito disponible. El servicio de restauración es muy bueno y atento al igual que su gastronomía. Muy recomendable.

    A Memorable Birthday Dinner

My family surprised me by treating me to a birthday dinner at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge. The food was delicious, the service staff were outstanding, and the setting, stunning, It doesn't get any better. What a gift!

    Delicious Getaway

Despite smoky skies which marred the magnificent view, we enjoyed a delightful weekend tucked into a forest-view cabin savouring the outstanding food at the Lodge's Inlet Restaurant. Such delicious food and friendly service in a charming old-world ambience surrounded by giant wooden beams, firesides and first nation art. This place is special.

    Anniversary treat

We spent two wonderful nights celebrating our 10th anniversary at this first class resort. We were greeted by two beautiful desserts and a note congratulatiing us as we entered our ocean view room. The big covered deck was a real treat as was the super comfortable king size bed. The bathroom had been completely redone with slate and vessel sink. Just beautiful. The meals were excellent and the service was friendly. We will be going back again next year.

Stunning setting but room for improvements

Beautiful setting and views, gorgeous main building (for reception & dining only), friendly staff. But this isn't luxury, and it shouldn't be thought of that way. There are many expected touches that are missing: in-room "coffee service" is plastic Keurig pods, no robes ("we don't do that anymore"), very basic toiletries (one 1"x2" thin bar of soap for 3 days), no daily housekeeping. Were some of those things due to COVID? Possibly, but we'll never know, as communication was barebones - not one piece of paper/info in the room. We went on a Princess Louisa boat/plane tour (fantastic) but all details on it were given in 30 seconds at check-in - wish we'd known more about the adventure in advance. Or about the path down to the dock (go past Cabin 5 and down the trail, keep to the right, need good footwear, will end up on gravel hill and eventually get to flat grassy area and small dock) which was a wonderful walk. Also, somewhat odd features in the suite, like a 'fireplace' which was just a giant votive for one candle, and a tiny shower stall with curtain and a crazily oversized shower/body spray. Didn't see the difference between suites and rooms either. Meals were included with our stay - food was excellent (separate Inlets review). Definitely some maintenance issues with the lodge, as we saw rotted railings, peeling paint, etc. Finally, this trip marked our 10 year anniversary, which we noted at the time of reservation, confirmation, and check-in...yet there was no mention of this or celebration as for the previous reviewer - inconsistent, and a missed easy opportunity to make guests feel special. In short, stunning setting, great place, delicious food, but room for improvements.
