Good stayThere is plenty space in bedroom and bathroom. The lights above the study desk it good. The coffee and kettle spot on. The view out of the window is over looking the next block and can see in to other peoples rooms so i keeped the curtains closed. Plenty from in the cupboard for storage. The bed sheets and duvet covers where perfect, but the mattress is only fit for the skip. There was a massive dip in the centre and had to rotate the mattress and this made it better.I may have just been unlucky. The shower is slow but fine. I was in friday and saturday and the noise was very little and nothing really, only when a door was open or close some where in the corridor. Cant say to much about staff as i only picked and the keys and dropped them off and didnt real have much interactions with them. Would i book again? Yes.

Perfect for a night or two!We booked this campus accommodation as we were coming to see Tom Jones at Slessor Gardens. Immediately after buying the tickets I started looking for somewhere to stay the night. Our usual choice of budget hotel was full! So were all the other budget choices and I started to worry that we wouldnt get anything. Then up pops the West Park campus. An en-suite room for two people and parking £45!! Yes £45!! In July, in a city! After excellent communications from Finn we arrived and checked in, the room was great, double bed, clean bedding, clean loo, parking, perfect! There was even a wee telly and tea making facilities in the room. A wide selection of buses pass close by. Because of the gig a lot of roads in Dundee were closed and we couldnt figure out where to catch the bus back, but prior to booking I had checked it was walkable (if youre reasonably fit), and so we walked back, it took us about 40 minutes. We passed a lot of folk also walking back to various b&bs etc so there were plenty of people with the same idea. Showered, made a coffee, watched the telly, slept in till 10am. £45! Checked out, drove into Dundee & had breakfast. Ive given four dots for sleep quality because the mattress was a bit soft, but thats my opinion and others may find it perfect. We wouldnt hesitate to use this place again, thanks very much!

Excellent service and foodSpent a week here for business meetings. The service, drinks and hot lunches were excellent - something different each day and always hot, fresh and tasty. Only downside was the lack of power sockets for laptops and the hdmi cable to the TV was short. We asked for an extension, but the only one they had was about 30cm long. We got by though and everything else was great.

Excellent Value Halls of Residence in DundeeThe West Park Summer Campus as it is officially known is a business offering student rooms to the public during the long summer holidays. The accommodation is situated in a pleasant, leafy area of Dundee around three miles from the city centre. As an IT consultant, I favour this kind of accommodation because it is low cost and the wifi is way better than any hotel. The grounds are nice with space to sit out and read if the weather co-operates. The business owners make it clear that this is not a hotel and by this they mean rooms are offered on a self-service basis. Clean towels and linen are provided at set intervals but guests need to make up their own rooms. Self-catering rooms in the villas and flats have access to a large shared kitchen, Standard rooms in the villas have a kettle and the usual supply of tea bags and coffee sachets. Noise levels vary and comparable to other properties of this type, a high level of insulation shouldn't be expected in student rooms, it isn't the Ritz. I've stayed here Mon-Fri during July and August and only on one occasion have I needed to reach for the earplugs. Overall, excellent value accommodation in a great location.
