  A great location spoilt by poor room presentation and maintenance.

  We chose this motel because of it's location and it looked OK on arrival. Decided to stay one night and see if we liked Orange and the Motel, which would mean staying longer. Welcome was good at reception and the room was easy to get to via stairs. The bed linen was clean and the bed comfortable as were the towels etc. in the bathroom. What let this place down was basic maintenance and a tardy approach to cleaning. Three lights out of six didn't work in the room, none of the drawers opened or closed properly in both the room and the bathroom and the toilet roll only had a small amount of paper left with NO spare roll in the bathroom. There was a black T shirt left on the floor of the wardrobe. The Wi-Fi was next to useless. The toilet roll holder was falling off the wall. The smoke alarm was not fully plugged in and the active light didn't function. The fan cover in the bathroom was located in the bathroom cabinet! When we got back from dinner we found the problems, but reception was closed for the night. At check out, I asked the receptionist to note the problems which she did. The excuses were that "people stole the toilet rolls, the Wi-Fi is always playing up, the room service staff should have checked the wardrobe, maintenance is not always available for the lights and they claimed to not know about the lights and the faulty drawers unless someone complains". There was not even an apology for the problems, just a thanks for telling us comment. Not going back folks!

  Stand had slipped

  Had stayed here before and room and stay was fantastic. This time we noted that the cleanliness of the room has dropped significantly on previous stay. Floor in bathroom had black hairs on it and on the vanity. Skirting boards and edges of the carpet were very dusty. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Service was excellent as usual just needs some attention to detail with cleaning. Would have bought this to the attention of management however we checked out early.

  Quick overnight stay

  Easy to find. Easy entry and exits Fast and friendly check-in. Option of choosing a $10 breakfast at the time of check-in or later. Convenient parking right outside the ground floor room. A quiet location.

  Great few days in the cottage

  We were a group of four aging cricketers sharing the 3 bedroom cottage. Accommodation was very good and suited our needs perfectly. Friendly efficient check in and good location. No complaints from our group.

  Very impressed

  Stayed here for 3 nights Was met by a friendly staff member,who went and opened door to my room and offered to take my luggage in The room was huge as was the disabled bathroom The bed was so comfortable Best sleep in weeks Large TV Desk chair plenty of room for storage Very reasonably priced room
