  Superb hotel within easy reach of the ski resort of Saas Fee

  The hotel is situated in the beautiful valley of Saas, ideal for hiking and cross-country skiing. There are regular buses along the length of the valley, which also take you up to the well-known ski resort of Saas Fee. I was impressed by the quality of this hotel and the attention to every detail to ensure the client's satisfaction. The buffet breakfast was delicious as was the choice of the 5-dish evening meal. Soup and tarts are also available during the afternoon if desired. There is a great spa including swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, exercise machines and areas to relax. A 5-night stay for seniors also includes several advantages. The personnel were always friendly and welcoming and it was very pleasant to stay in such a hotel.

  Superb!

  We were invited to Hotel Zurbriggen for a birthday. The hotel and spa were world class. Room was outstanding. Restaurant was excellent . Spa was excellent. Staff is super professional and cool, not at all stuffy for such an incredible hotel. Located at the end of a beautiful valley this is a little village near Saas Fee, a really laid back place. Great for relaxing. Tip- go hiking, Saas Almagel to Saas Fee. Tip- if you have a bike ride up to the lake. Not so easy but really worth it. Ebike maybe. Tip- hotel gives you a free bus pass , use it to explore the region. The yellow Swiss Post buses are an adventure in themselves. Tip- if shopping is your thing stay in Zurich or Geneva.

  First visit to a real treasure!

  We are regular visitors to the Saas Valley but this was our first time staying in Saas-Almagell. From the start we were made to feel very welcome at this first class hotel. It is run by the delightful Fabian and Ester and nothing is too much trouble. The spa facilities are excellent and so much is included in the price. Each room has a coffee machine and kettle and water, tea and coffee are available all day. The breakfast includes plenty of fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, eggs etc etc. Then after 12.30 soup, rolls and all manner of cakes are available to tide you over until the delicious five course dinner. The rooms are light, bright and kept very very clean. We had a south facing suite with a great balcony. Our adult son had a balcony room with lots of wardrobe space, a shower and a bath. There are umbrellas and walking sticks to borrow if needed. Everyone on the staff was charming and helpful. It says something about the hotelier when the chef has been with him 10 years! We consider our holiday value for money, which is not easy to attain while our currency is so low and the Swiss Franc so high. We will return next summer.   Xmas in Wallis

  This is a 7-star hotel! Just near skistation in Saas Allmagen and 8 min far by bus to Saas Grund, and 20 min far by bus from Saas Fee. We gad a wellness suite with very nice mountain view. The suite is of two floors with a magnificent design, having sauna and Jacuzzi in ground floor and bedroom in first floor. Breakfast was buffet style with a very big variety of everything very fresh and delicious. In the afternoon soup and cakes were served. Dinner was a five course and all with a very top quality ( you can already select your options at breakfast) on your table. All courses made our mouth watery everyday. Servuce was very good and Professional. The hotel had also a big sauna area as well as indoor swimmpool and Jacuzzi. Also mini bowling, billiards, babyfoot and arcade game. Staff were friendly and professional and the hotel set very good measures for protection during the current covid time. The overall rating should be 7/5!

  Family with small kids

  We went with small kids (7 and 3 years old) for skiing holidays. Great benefits is, that the hotel is just in front of ski lifts. Its very luxury, designed and decorated by my favorite artist Mr Julius, who also decorated Backstage in Zermatt. The spa is great! But be ready to be naked there most of the time with other hotel guests;) The dinners are superb! 5-6 absolutely fantastic meals. The service, still running by the family members, is very friendly. They will come to greet you and solve any issues you have! I would really recommend this hotel to couples, single skiers or families with kids from 5 years old. They have great kids club with most of activities for 6+
