  Wonderful place to stay!

  I cant say enough about how lovely our stay was as the Wellington Apartment Hotel! We stayed at both the beginning few days and end few days of our time in Brisbane. We were a group of 9, and they were able to accommodate us with room to spare. The rooms were immaculate and had great views, the staff warm, friendly, and helpful, and the breakfasts were amazing! The location is very convenient to walk or take the bus or water taxi to anywhere in Brisbane. We will definitely return!

  Very spacious and warm

  The Wellington apartment hotel was clean, tidy and had friendly staff. I booked at short notice and got a room overlooking the road but it was double glazed and quiet. The room was large and the heat pump made it warm. I will stay again

  Simply the best.

  This hotel provided us with a very clean, quiet and tidy apartment for our stay. All the windows are double-glazed, so there was no obtrusive noise. Being from the country, this really mattered to us. The free parking both for us and a visiting relative was also a boon. The parking area in the basement was also spotless. As were the grounds of the building. Rose, Kim, Guy and staff were attentive to our requirements and were courteous, polite and attentive to our every need. Happy and courteous staff I find are a rare commodity in this day and age. Well done Wellington Apartment Hotel on having such stellar staff. The Restaurant and bar were also very clean and well appointed. The staff there also did the Hotel proud. With a lovely selection of wines to choose from, the freshest fish I have had in a long while and top service, we ended up eating in most nights. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the same wine was cheaper to buy at the hotel than it was at Celebrations across the road. Nice not to have to leave the hotel for anything. I hope to be back in Brisbane before the year is out, and look forward to staying in what is now, our favourite Hotel. A huge thank you to the lovely staff that did everything they could to make our stay so comfortable. It was wonderful.

  Thought we were going to trash the room?

  Booked a King Bed room for one night in advance, just my husband and I. We arrived for check in and I was told by the reception staff they needed to double check they had the right credit card details, and then said it was in case "we have a party and trash the room". Wow, okay - really offensive and unprofessional but I guess this is not a 5 star hotel so you don't get a professional greeting? Anyway we checked in, parked the car (free parking included - that was good) and went to our room. Only to find it was not a king room but a twin room with two single beds. I double checked my booking (yes it was mean to be a king) and went back downstairs. I told the receptionist and she said nothing, looked confused, looked at the computer, and then looked at a piece of paper for a few minutes. She then went and spoke to house keeping (all the while having not said a word to me) and came back to tell me housekeeping would fix it. They came up later to join the beds together. As for the room itself, shower head is awful but the room was clean and acceptable. There is a big sign saying lock the balcony door so I guess they have had break ins in the past. Location is good with access to the Mowbray Park ferry stop only a few minutes walk.

  Honest hospitality in boutique hotel

  Stayed here for a couple of months for work nearby. Had a great reception from staff. very friendly, helpful and inviting. Which remained throughout my visit, nothing was too much trouble, always helpful. Room was perfect, city skyline view at night from the balcony was great. Room facilities gave me all I needed for cooking and storage. Cleanliness was outstanding across whole property. Car parking secure. I love early morning walks and this was an easy stretch to the river for exercise. I think they even ordered perfect weather for me. Great hotel, well done
