  A wonderful getaway

  My husband and I finally got it together to use a voucher that was expiring the end of January and are so glad we did. Our king cabin was wonderful-quiet, cozy, with a fire and comfortable couch, nice large bathroom and perfect mattress. We enjoyed walking for miles on the river path. Service was outstanding and the breakfast and apps were such a nice addition-and well-managed with Covid. We will definitely return.

  I liked everything but the service....

  I was really looking forward to my stay here as I had done a lot of research and the reviews were great. I certainly did not expect to have access to everything because of Covid but I was told we could get breakfast and snacks everyday from the main hotel. The cabin we stayed in was lovely--3 bedrooms for 3 of us with 2 bathrooms and all of the accommodations were fine--nice bed, everything worked, cozy little cabin near the Rogue river, even a walking path nearby so we walked by the river each morning. So the stay would have been gold if it weren't for one thing--the people who worked there were so unnecessarily snarky and gave us attitude over every detail. From the minute we arrived, little questions about wifi and breakfast were met with surly answers as if they were shocked to be asked. This was in sharp contrast to the woman who I made the reservation with who was perfectly professional. Now if there were some request or some outlandish circumstance that made us difficult guests, I would say well, they were reacting to us....but there was nothing. All we did was order breakfast for the morning and you would've thought we were asking for a kidney. I was even going to let this all go but then got an email from them asking to write a review, so I had to share per their request. Its a lovely little place but the people who work there could use some lessons in basic hospitality.

  Perfect, even if only for a quick night

  My wife and I loved our stay, despite getting in late and just staying one night. If arriving after 11pm, be sure to call in advance to get instructions about how to check in - it's not too bad, but you do need the instructions! We could still tell just how relaxing this place was, and we enjoyed the morning with a quick little walk by the river and a nice breakfast before heading back out on the road. The Inn is also doing everything they can with COVID restrictions and we felt very safe in that regard. Whether staying for multiple nights or just a stop over, do yourself a favor and enjoy the relaxation this place has to offer!

  A Pleasure!

  Our king river cabin was cozy and comfortable. Service and staff warm and helpful. Awesome chocolate chip cookies every evening, and a cooked breakfast (must take to your room at the moment.) We will be back!

  Felt like Living and Episode of "Virgin River"

  Loved staying here! Came for a quick get away from Portland with a friend and got the King River Suite and was charmed from the moment we walked in the room. Open spacious room with fireplace and HUGE bed got me singing "Grandma's Feather Bed" as soon as I saw it. The deck with the rocking chairs and the massive tub. I've stayed in Vegas many times and this tub had them beat. The wine tasting was on point and enjoyed the breakfast and cookies at night. It was during COVID so they made it work and had us give our orders and pick them up when they were ready. Would love to come back once things open up again and we can enjoy the company of others.
