  Good stay except

  We had a great stay here with both the accommodation and dining in their Restaurant. We enjoyed the pool and found all the staff very helpful and friendly. On our last night the fire alarm went off 3 times making us all get out of our rooms out into the rain On the third time someb3 hours later 2 am the fire brigade said the back up fire system was not working properly Many people were justified in being angry I also feel the resort is sadly lacking in evacuation procedures

  A little tired

  Clean and comfortable but the whole place is a little tired. The staff were friendly and did their best. Happy hour was enjoyed with a good selection of wines and beers. The rooms could do with a bit of a zoosh to bring them up to what is expected in 2012.

  Very disappointed

  The staff are very friendly and attentive and that is by far the best thing that we encountered. We stayed in a river view room which was very dated and smelled musty! The bathroom had cracked and repaired tiles ( exposed repairs). Lots of bugs flying about because no sliding screen door ! Bed was a bit firm for me but its a personal thing. Breakfast was ordinarily , bacon not fully cooked and firm poached eggs. Extremely limited selections and a fixed type breakfast.

  Little gem in Port Macquarie NSW

  We booked 5 rooms for a group reunion We loved the hotel & the location. We all stayed in a river view room overlooking the Hastings river. What a beautiful view! We had amazing breakfast and delicious dunner.... Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We swam in the pool every day and were able to walk up to the mouth of the river, via the break wall. It was such a relaxing stay. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We cannot rate this lovely hotel highly enough. We will definitely be staying again, as the position and value for money was so handy in Port Macquarie

  Great location

  right on the waters edge, this motel although tidy it has potential to be a excellent motel. staff were friendly on arrival and our room was good, you could see they had done some little improvements, but the room does need a upgrade. parking was a issue due to the fullness of the motel. overall the motel was great
