Paper thin wallsThe hotel was not very busy as our stay was during a later phase of the pandemic. It seemed as though all guests were on the same floor (perhaps for ease of cleaning?). The walls are so thin that the people beside us kept me up so late. They probably were just watching television at a slightly loud volume and talking but the walls are so thin that from the rooms on both side we had the tv in stereo, doors were opening and closing in the hall and lots of activity. The hotel itself is okay. The lobby is lovely and the gentleman who check us in was fantastic. The room was just average, not super clean, and a little old, worn and dated. The lobby restaurant has a very basic menu and did not seem appealing. The staff didnt seem very engaged at all and never even acknowledged our table so we left. Okay for a quick stop over, but not ideal

Great locationThis is THE place to stay if you are cycling along the Waterfront Trail. It is right on the water, with lots of great little spots to eat and drink nearby. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and it is one of the few hotels where the pool is actually open during Covid. The only negative was the very basic grab and go breakfast - we have found many other hotels that have actually managed to put together a decent grab and go breakfast - this was not one of them.

DisappointedReserved a room at The Waterfront hotel because it is close to Joseph Brant Hospital and to meet family during Covid. Great location. However, the walls are very thin and our room was adjacent to a room where men were welcomed with a friendly Hi all night until 5 am, with doors opening & closing loudly all night. I had heard rumors of this kind of activity at The Waterfront but being the location we wanted I gave it a chance. We just wanted a descent nights sleep. We will not stay here again. Choose your clientele.

Amazing staycation! After another month of being shut down. We were ready for a quick overnight staycation. Ive been all over Ontario and parts of the world looking to relax! Who new Id find it in Burlington, Ontario, waterfront hotel. Beautiful park and boardwalk leading to a great peer! Rooms big, clean, king bed softest sheets. We couldnt get a waterfront room, but even the side rooms look onto the lake. Great waterfront views I bet. I actually go for the pool. I called and asked if it was heated. I was shocked, usually heated means cold. But this was so warm you dont want to get out. No one using the pool. Had it for about 30 minutes. But can stay an hour. Front desk reservation person was very pleadant and attentive. Paula I guess, guest services checked in to see if she could do anything for us. Picked up food from Spencers very close. Next time ill book the restaurant for the food first, delicious and views second. Ill be back and cant day enough! Id take this over the intercontinental in Toronto any time. Highly recommend this hotel.
