  Í selected Warm Springs Motel to be near my friend's house. I am allergic to cats so I did not want to stay at her house. This MOTEL was given high ratings in Booking.com. The reality was a nightmare. The room was ROACH INFESTED. There was very poor attention. The linen was stained. The bathroom floor was never cleaned nor the toilet. The towels were muddy color and excessively harsh. The owner was not sympathetic. He kept telling me that in Florida this was normal. I have never experienced this in any MOTEL nor hotel in Florida. I am 72 and Non-Driver. Therefore, I was stuck in this HELL-HOLE from April 12 to April 19. I hope other people will see this and avoid spending so much money for a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

  A Very Pleasant Experience

  They don't make places like this anymore. A treasure. New owners with updated large rooms that are all on the ground floor (no climbing massive stairs) that all open up to a patio with outdoor table and chairs and a massive huge nice pool. Quiet and peaceful, like being with family. Excellent service. Gave us a big room with big kitchen, nice big frig and lovely furniture. Expensive tile on the walls and bathroom that is decorated in a unique style, you don't see tile like this anymore. The bed was big and comfortable and plenty of towels. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the shower needs a thorough bleach cleaning and the thick old caulking needs to be bleached scrubbed to get rid of the black mold. The shower door hasn't been scrubbed in a long time. I would definetly go back as we loved the total experience, spray bleach bottle in hand.

  Victor Lundy Thank You

  Well quite interesting how my perceptions changed over the 3 days I stayed. This "quaint" little place is actually the remnant of an architectural masterpiece for its time by Victor Lundy, whom I have heard still lives in Sarasota. As I searched through photos and other information on the internet I found this place to actually be a world class tourist destination, if you would like to join the actual Warm Springs just down the road for swimming it will set you back nada as a resident, BUT $1100 per year if you would like to just hang around and swim. SO along the road from the motel to the spring is an abandoned outbuilding with an outlandish GIANT triangle vestibule similar to the motel's design. The classically designed building tragically stands empty and lonely, however in some way also embodies Lundy's vision - my challenge is for some architectural specialist or group to repurpose it as it lies directly midway between the Motel and Waters. Interestingly at the motel in any case are folks from all over, and outside at the large warm, deep pool at 2:30 am it's quiet but active. Private room with a big heavy-duty AC unit was relatively clean after visiting the nearby Walmart, and the help is excellent, kind and friendly, fresh fruit and Danish galore for breakfast - especially Homanchu my young Indian lecturer who reset the router for me and I reassured teaching in America was possible with a bit of strategy, many thanks please persevere. Go here if you are up to the adventure along Highway 41, room 10 bathroom is the cleanest and walking around the outside you can decidedly reminisce if a fan of architecture. This IS a ghost story, there just hasn't been a ghost yet...

  Love our vintage find

  We stayed here for 6 days just before the COVID outbreak. What a quite, cute, centrally located motel. This motel was constructed in 1958 with many updates. Our room was equipped with a small kitchenette and a grill. It was great! Really felt homey!! Staff was helpful and kind. Would stay here again if in the area.

  Warm Mineral Springs Motel

  Visiting North Port for Braves spring training. Motel is very close to the venue. Grounds are kept up very well. Rooms are old and need to be updated. Beds are more like sleeping in a hammock. Virtually no housekeeping. Fresh towels delivered to the room daily but NO cleaning done. Trash just piled up in the corner. Plenty of soap though.... but only because the used soap was still in the shower from previous guests. So I'm guessing the shower was probably not cleaned. Continental breakfast was a box of Dunkin Donuts... and was best to just pick up the one that didn't have any fingerprints on it. The gentleman at the front desk (I'm guessing was the owner) must really love the "F" bomb since I heard him use it 20 times in the 2 minutes I was in the lobby. For the price paid, this was a very disappointing visit. I would NOT recommend staying here unless you keep the bar raised very low.
