Needs to be demolishedI have stayed in a lot of hotels and I have never seen anything quite like this or been treated so badly. This was not our first choice for a hotel but we were away for a hockey tournament and there were no hotels available. It started off when we walked in our room and the heat was set to 10 degrees Celsius, it was freezing in there! The decor was dated (1980s style) and needed to be replaced. The mattresses and no springs, were double and worn out and as you can see from my photos there were stains on them. The linens (and I use that term loosely) were a disgrace as I have camp blankets in better shape than this. There were holes in the blankets and the comforter looked so dirty and old we took that off. The wallpaper was peeling and the wall hangings were faded. The first night the smoke detector wouldnt stop beeping and we couldnt sleep so we unhooked it. I didnt like not having a smoke detector, but when I took it down it had expired in 2007, so it probably wasnt much good anyways. We didnt have a working tv for the first 24 hours, the water was luke warm in the shower. Sometimes you can over look some of these concerns if you are treated well. Our kids and parents from the hockey team were treated terribly. The manager pinned one of our children up against the wall and threatened him and the next night the same manager swore at our children. They asked us to have the children in their rooms by 8pm which is unreasonable when they are 12 and 13 years old. My opinion is this hotel needs to be closed or a complete renovation. There definitely needs to be new management, this couple running the hotel have zero people skills and no patience with children. And if there had been good customer service the jar on the front desk would be funny, but we didnt see the humor in it. I would never stay here again, I would drive the extra distance to stay in Moncton. We couldnt cancel when we saw the rooms because their policy is you have to cancel 9 days prior to your visit to get your money back. They hold half of your payment if you cancel in those 9 days.

Avoid at all costs!Only because I couldn't give this place a 0 out of 5 rating... Starting with the reservation process it was a s#!t show.. Booked a room, then my party got larger so I called for a larger room. Talked to a person who accepted my request but couldn't provide me with any confirmation # or anything in writing. On arrival, I was given a room smaller than I originally requested, and definitely not what I had called and booked the second time. The room was in very sad shape and I took one step inside then promptly returned to the front desk to fix the issue. You would have thought I asked for their first child.. Painful process to get a different room that would fit all of us, but they finally provided a room. At least we had enough sleeping space now, but the room was disgusting. The bath tub was 1970's brown porcelain with a massive blue stain that would not wash away. The toilet was stained all different shades. The bedding looked to have not been washed in several years. The decor was also right out of the 1970's. The second floor hallway wasn't level, and from the landing on the top of the stairwell you can look at the ceiling line and see how off-level it is.. we had a good laugh about that one.. Enough about the room.. The owner (male) was possibly one of the most disrespectful and uncaring people I've ever met.. He treated my group like we should be grateful to him for letting us stay there.. He's lucky that he didn't end up in jail for putting his hands on a n 11 year old child.. Grabbed him by the throat and shoved him into a wall.. He was also quick to use profane language to anyone smaller than him. Expected that all children will be in bed by 8pm when there was 2 hockey teams staying here.. completely unrealistic. Pool was being "renovated" so was unavailable. Wanted us to pay to use a large room to feed the kids together for one meal, which wasn't heated and likely wouldn't safely pass any fire or health and safety inspection. Never again will I step foot in this place.. I'll drive to Moncton if I need to.. The only thing that should be done to fix this place is to remove the ownership and tear the decrepit building down.

Horrible, and not as advertised!!Horrible! For $149, we had a horribly rundown drive up unit, which is not what we booked. Outside, each door has a plastic coffee container, full of sand and loaded with cigarette butts. The filthy and cracked door had one little lock that didnt hold well at all. No security chain. Mattress very cheap, and very hard; old fashioned (and loud!) coil spring. The two pillows on the bed only had shams on them; only one extra pillow, which was small and dirty. No outlet behind the nightstand to plug the alarm clock in. Had to unplug a bunch of stuff to charge our phones. Dust webs and hair and dirt on the box spring behind our pillows, huge stains on the ceiling. Filthy air conditioner worked, but all the vent pieces were broken, so we couldnt direct the air anywhere. They advertised a free continental breakfast, which they dont have, although she offered us a cookie (I think. There was a language barrier.) Pool has been under renovation for years from what I understand. And then we have some guy in the yard in his pyjama bottoms, smoking whatever it was, so drunk or high he was staggering and couldnt even stand up. When I handed in the key, they werent even going to give me a receipt! I had to ask and then wait and wait while he figured out how to print it on their cheap paper that didnt even have a letterhead! No no no! Stay away!

Extremely disappointed with prior information provided and resulting stay experience.Website offered great onsite restaurant and breakfast included in price. When called to book not offered any additional or changed information. Upon arrival there was a "small" typed note behind check in desk stating restaurant was closed. When asked about breakfast advised coffee would be available at 7 am. in the unused restaurant area. This coupled with the individuals accent being so strong as to be almost impossible to understand. The property is in generally horrid condition although the room was reasonably clean but rundown. I had 15 years of great experience with this property, overnight and meeting room usage, until approximately 8 years ago and find it hard to understand how it could deteriorate to currant level. I would not recommend that anyone consider using this property.

Beware Worst Inn EverFront desk person was unfriendly and not helpful. Asked for non-smoking yet got a room that reaked of smoke and stale air. I had an allergic reaction to all the smoke smell and woke up with a sore throat the next morning. The carpet was dirty. The room was dingy and the bed clothes made me scared to lay down. Worst stay ever.
