  Lejos del centro, limpio, amplio y acogedor

  Está situado en una población cercana a Sydney, es un pueblito partido por una gran carretera y bien comunicado por tren con el centro de la ciudad. Ideal si vas en coche. Tardaba cada día 1 hora en llegar en tren hasta la Opera de Sydney. El establecimiento es sencillo pero bien cuidado. Las habitaciones son tipo apartamento y disponen de una pequeña cocina con todo lo necesario para cocinar algo. La conexión a internet es por cable y hay que pagarla como un extra. El lugar es muy tranquilo y está limpio. El personal es amable. Junto a la recepción hay un restaurante Indio que no probé pues me pareció muy caro. Claro que hacía unos meses que había estado en India y pagar por un Dal 20 veces más me parecía excesivo. La piscina es realmente pequeña y está encajada en un lateral del edificio, si tienes niños y quieres remojarlos allí está bien, para los adultos no es muy llamativa. El hotel te avisa con carteles que monitorean el consumo de agua y electricidad que consumes y la verdad es que no me gusta sentir el paso del contador eléctrico, suena muy amenazante. Aproximadamente como a 200 metros del hotel dispones de todo lo necesario, puesto que está el centro del pueblo, con sus pequeña estafeta de correos, libraría, supermercado, bazares, restaurantes pequeños y con horarios muy reestringidos, ATM, etc. Los precios allí son mejores que en el centro de la ciudad.

  Friendly Staff, Very Clean and Value for Money

  I recently stayed at the Waldorf Apartments on Pennant Hills Road. I was a little sceptical when I read some of the reviews, but I arrived and stayed 2 nights, I was pleasantly surprised. The reception staff where very welcoming and extremely helpful. We booked a double room which was very spacious with a huge bed, kitchenette, small sitting around and a balcony. The room was so quiet, which is hard to believe when it is situated right on Pennant Hills Road. You seriously would not have known. I am extremely critical when it comes to cleanliness and our room was absolutely spotless. the bathroom was a little tired and probably in need of a renovation, but it was very clean. Breakfast is offered each morning for a cost of 12.00. It was a very basic continental style breakfast, but because we had a kitchenette in our room, we just took our own breakfast and ate in our room each morning. There is a gym located out near the pool area. I used the gym one morning, it has a basic arrangement of cardio equipment and a resistance training station. The machinery was all in top working condition and very clean. One suggestion is maybe have a water dispenser there and some hand towels, but otherwise it was absolutely fine. The hotel has underground secure parking for a cost of $ per day. You can also parking out in the street which is un-metered but seemed to be quiet busy during the day with people parking and then using the train. I definitely recommend the underground parking. Easy to use and park and your car is secure during the evening. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by too. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone, and would stay again if returning to the area.

  Sadly a Bad Night's Stay

  This was an overnight stay on our way home after holidays, to break the two-day drive. Unfortunately, it was a bad decision to stay. When we arrived we were very impressed. The reception and common areas were beautifully presented. But our room was a great disappointment. The bathroom was very dated and the toilet seat was in a terrible condition - delaminating, pitted and stained. The walls all needed a fresh coat of paint and were stained and dirty looking. The sofa bed for our child was hard and lumpy. The worst though was the noise! Our room was only meters from a very busy mulit-lane road that had trucks roaring past at all hours of the night. This made it impossible to sleep in the main room and so all three of us shared the bed in the bedroom where there was a tiny respite from the noise. Not enough though to give us a good nights sleep and after a mostly sleepless night we gave up in the early hours of the morning, packed up and headed for home. The poor sleep made for a long and difficult days drive and I was very concerned about making it home safely. My husband, who is very used to long-distance driving, needed to pull over many times to refresh himself enough to be able to continue driving safely. Unfortunately, we will never stay again and could not recommend anyone else to stay either.

  Nice place

  Surprised at how nice this was for the price we stayed for 2 nights , only down thing was the shower didn't work only able to access the bath . Great facilities in room for cooking. Other than that great location.

  8 month stay for work

  I stayed at the Waldorf Pennant Hills Apartment Hotel for 8 months for work in the studio apartments. Both my wife and I were quite comfortable and were able to cook as all the facilities are provided. I was working very long hours and my wife worked from the apartment with no issues. Was good to come home and just kick back with the foxtel. The facility managers were extremely helpful, even when my HR department had not sent updated accommodation details extending my stay they allowed us to stay on until this was provided, free of charge. If you ever have any requests or need assistance they will go out of their way to help you out.
