  Maravilloso Hotel

  Estuve un par de días en este maravilloso hotel, la atención de la recepción es muy buena, son personas atentas que se preocupan por ayudarte en tu idioma. Me encantó el desayuno. Estuve con un par de personas y aunque no tenían reserva les solucionaron el problema.

  A Step Back in Time!

  This is a gem of a hotel, nestled on the sunny hill in Davos with a real history. We loved all of the old photos - you can feel that the place has a past and that some of it is still intact. We loved the bar, we liked the breakfast, but were very disaapointed with the inexperienced staff, even when a more senior guy appeared, the service was still bad, even though the room was half empty. I asked for scrambled eggs. On the fourth day, she tells me you can have scrambled eggs with various extras - why didn't I get that information on day one? I asked for chives and got bacon, not quite a match. If you need coffee, be prepared to wait a while - they don't proactively ask if everything is fine and if you need anything else - they don't even take dirty plates away - quite schocking service. Super-friendly and efficient front of house/reception/hotel management - wow Mr. Herzog is doing a great job there. Super efficient and friendly shuttle service to anywhere in town .- thank you! Room was large, bright and airy, but I prefer it all a bit cosier, so wooden floors with no rugs were a bit austere. great balcony, large bathroom, bedding somewhat lacking in any luxury - could be improved. Beds rather on the hard side. Turn down service, a nice idea, but they need to come later as who goes to bed at 7pm? We were mostly still in our rooms, getting ready to go out. Spa/pool area ok, but not really a hit - needs urgent renovation and improvement. If the spa area gets updated, it could be a top address in Davos. Might stay again, as overall, we felt welcome, at home and relaxed. Would like to try the top cook... on our next trip.

  Beautiful view and amazing staff

  We have been to this hotel already twice and we always love our stay! We love that tea and fruits are available on each floor all the time. The rooms are super clean and have an amazing view, we get hot bottles in our beds every evening :), the staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Will come back again and again...

  Un fin de semana inmejorable e inolvidable

  Bueno, no sé ni por dónde empezar... La acogida fue muy cálida y la recepcionista nos llevó a una habitación amplia, limpieza impecable, con un balón desde el cual disfrutamos de unas vistas impresionantes a las montañas nevadas. En el desayuno hay algo para el gusto de cualquiera. Un cocinero prepara à la minute platos diferentes con huevos y también hay cosas para celiacos. Después de un día en las pistas recomiendo aprovechar el área de spa para un momento de relax total. Merece la pena visitar el bar/lounge para picotear algo y tomar una copa de vino o uno de los riquísimos cócteles. Tengo que admitir que el buen rollo entre los empleados es contagioso. Sean vacaciones para relajarse, de deporte y aventura o para complacer el paladar - este hotel lo recomiendo de corazón. Muchísimas gracias a todo el equipo, fue un placer.

  Throughout Switzerland, we have been able to enter our rooms upon arrival, and Waldhotel was no exception. It seems to be a lodging trend, in fact. What makes this property stand out is the attitude of the employees. Just one small example: I asked a random question of the gentleman taking dinner orders in the bar. He answered completely, then said, "I hope I have been able to answer your question." There are details that make a difference here. For example, they supply tea and fruit outside the rooms, offer a welcome drink of water or coffee, send you off with water, and so on. (It's another hotel that doesn't supply coffee packets, so bring your own or wait for breakfast.) A second outstanding feature of this hotel is its location on a "panorama" walk. If you're not here to ski or toboggan, you can spend the day on a well planned walking excursion.
