A great place to be...I went for a mini-get-away and was overjoyed to get much more out of the experience that I expected. The beauty of the Wakamow Valley is breath taking. A true gem of Saskatchewan's natural wonders. The house is a lovely time piece made warm and welcoming by Lois and John. Thank you for a lovely stay, K

Another Great StayThis was our 2nd stay at Wakamow and we were excited to share the experience with friends who also booked a room. Lois is an excellent host. Check in was easy, we love the history of the home and how its preserved. Each room is unique and outfitted with everything you need for your stay. We were in the Terrace Room this time and my only disappointment was the seating on the terrace. The picture showed a nice patio set, and all that was up there was some sun soaked lawn chairs which we used. Personally didn't care too much but I can see other guests being upset. I didn't ask for anything different, as I am sure she would accommodate The rooms are showing there age, and small things are coming apart but all in all its such a fascinating experience. Lois made an excellent breakfast before we left home. We hope to be back again!!!

Charm and comfortWe booked from the road at the last minute. They were short of customers because of COVID, so we lucked out and got the entire top floor with two suites. Our daughter took the honeymoon suite for herself, which has a delightfully gaudy heart-shaped bed. There was no a/c, but a fan during the day and a nice breeze with the windows open at night. We didn't do the breakfast option, but bought our own breakfast which we ate in the gazebo in the lovely garden. We also ate our take-away dinner there. There is also a bright wraparound covered porch if it's too cold to eat outside. Charming hostess. The house is like stepping back into Victorian times - cozy chintzy.

Wonderful property once you find it.Had to use google maps to find the place. Lovely renovated building and theme rooms. Love the old wood and the bedroom furnishings and flourishes. Breakfast was delicious! Nice landlords live on site. Beautiful screened porch and nice grounds. Will stay here again.

Like staying with family! This was my second visit to Wakamow Heights. My husband and I stayed there for a couple night in Nov while celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed our visit immensely! My parents live in Moose Jaw so I was visiting alone this time but due to Covid I could not stay in their apartment so I booked here. John and Lois are lovely warm hosts who make you feel at home and the breakfast is incredible down to the last detail as Lois is a marvelous cook. If you want a comfortable bed and to be treated like family check out this lovely place. I would give it 10 stars if I could!
