  Surprised!

  We needed a stopover due to problems with our camper. We were used to conventional camp sites and on arrival at were less than impressed. However, it was perfect for our requirements! Clean and safe. Ablutions spotless, hot water, electricity.

  Morning staff have no manners

  We decided to spend a night here on our way to Cape Town. The place is nice. The evening staff where very friendly and welcoming. What spoilt our experience was the morning staff. They were very rude. We sat in the restaurant waiting for someone to serve us. The ladies we asked were very non commital in helping. No offense management, but you are in the hospitality industry so please ensure your front end staff are customer oriented. There attitude will affect your clients experience.

  Dissappointing

  I have stayed here a couple of times in the past 5 years.enroute to Cape Town. Always booking ahead using either booking.com or Agoda It is positioned perfectly next to the main road yet abit out of town and promises some private and quite setting. It's not amazing and for one night stay it should be enough. There are a certain things you expect though from a 3 star lodge. A comfortable bed. A place to hand a few clothes, a chair. I am very disappointed that I got a room with no chair and no cabinet or rail to hang my clothes for the next day. For almost R800 a night!! I have stayed in cheaper places and had those basic needs met. When I asked to change rooms they said I'll have to pay an extra R250. I'm sorry that's shody business to me.

  Sleep over

  Very nice place to sleep over the place is nearby the main road rooms very neat with nice restaurant with very good service from staff also pet friendly place with swimming pool with nice bar to cool down keep on with good service see you again

  This is not a Lodge but an old Motel

  This facility and especially the room we stayed in qualifies to be used as a gritty Motel setting in an American movie set. What you see on the booking.com website and what you get to stay in (room no 46) is worlds apart. The room was old and in need of maintenance and refurbishment. There is no TV, aircon or fridge. A small roof fan tried it's best to keep us cool in the summer heat. The bathroom sliding door needs to be rehanged every time you use it. The shower is partially closed with a shower door and a shower curtain where there used to be a shower. The ceiling is covered in mildew. If our room is the standard for all the other rooms I would recommend that you only stay there if there is no alternative in the area and it is not possible to rather drive trough to the next town.
