  Relaxing holiday

  Our second two week holiday at this friendly family run hotel, basic but very clean and comfortable. The rose garden restaurant and drop in bar offer tasty homemade food and the best cocktails. The whole family are a joy to stay with. Thank you we look forward to next year. We had room 12 with wonderful views over the sea.

  Lovely hotel and great value, wonderful holiday

  Our 17th time on Skiathos and our 2nd consecutive year at the Hotel Vontzos. We can highly recommend this hotel. Small, clean and run by a lovely friendly family. Rooms are very traditionally Greek and comfortable with everything you could need. Air conditioning most efficient. Thoroughly cleaned daily by very hard working cleaner. Very enjoyable breakfast and truly memorable food every night in the attached Rose Garden restaurant. We'll be back next year without doubt and already counting down the days.

  Close to the beach, but basic

  Next door restaurant shares the building and the kitchen makes a lot of noise during the afternoon until midnight, to rooms 17 and 18. Breakfast: honey, yoghurt, cereal and milk ... thats about it. Clean sheets and towles. Super close to the beach. 3 min walk to buss stop number 10, less than 2 per person in ticket. Taxiboats come and go frequently from the beach to Old Port in Skiathos

  Z here for 9 days, whilst the hotel is fairly basic, it is spotless. Rooms,were cleaned daily, and towels and sheets changed frequently. We found the family very friendly and always pleased to help. The hotel is ideally placed a short distance from the excellent beach, from where water taxis run to Skiathos town, and the bus stop is 100 yards away, We really enjoyed our stay, and have already booked 11 days next June. The Rose Garden restaurant attached to the hotel seves excellent food at reasonable prices. All in all good value:-)

  Absolutely breathtaking..

  i stayed at this hotel with my partner on the 19th August for one week,all i can say is one week is NOT long enough!! My in-laws go every year for 4 weeks at a time, i now realize why! they know the family well. The bedrooms are cleaned daily, sheets changed frequently, and its decor is traditional Greek, comfy beds and pillows, wonderful Greek balcony and doors, we had a sea view room which also looked over the restaurant, which was truly amazing. Air conditioning is a god send! The family treat you as their own, a hug upon arrival with welcoming arms, we felt apart of the family. its a 2 minute walk down to the wonderful beach, and only a quick boat trip to Skiathos town which is one of the most incredible places ive been! The restaurant located in this hotel is outdoors, and at night time is lit up, very romantic, the food... well what more can i say about that, the food is out of this world!! how i didn't come back 2 stone heavier i will never know, all freshly cooked, and truly a treat for the taste buds, you'll be coming back home wishing you could have that food again! The family are wonderful, so kind and nothing is too much trouble, so welcoming and will always come and have a chat. We cannot wait to come back again next year, this time for 2 weeks! You will not regret going to this place is it truly something you need to see, feel like you're right at home even though you're in the middle of Greece. We look forward to seeing you all soon!
