Basic Accomodation
Volgograd is quite a long city with various regions. This Hotel is to the south of the city - 20 minutes by car to the centre of Volgograd. The Hotel is situated on the Volga-Don River with a small kids park on the riverbank. Its in quite a run down area, so not ideal if you are a holiday maker, although well situated if you are in town on business at the local oil refinery. The hotel breakfast is very basic. Sausage, rice, pasta, cake, Juice and Coffee. Evening meals are a little better and a meal and a beer will set you back about £6. The rooms have the essentials, Kettle, TV, Shower & Fridge but are very dated.
