Delightful stayMy daughter and I decided to try Vivere Hotel for the first time by booking an overnight stay in one of their deluxe rooms. We arrived at 2 pm and got a pleasant surprise when we were informed that they were upgrading us to a one bedroom suite. Other than that, we were allowed an early check in before 3 pm.. The suite was more than what we expected. It was like a condominium unit with a kitchenette, dining area, work station, living area, bathroom and a bedroom. Its windows opened to an attractive view by night of the lighted Alabang commercial district. We went up on the 31st floor for our welcome drinks and the breeze by the pool proved to be relaxing and refreshing. Service of the hotel personnel from check-in to check-out was exceptional. The only downside was the Burger for Big Boys sandwich that we ordered in the evening. The burger was big alright but it was dry and the taste was wanting. Its price was also on the high end. Breakfast buffet proved to be satisfying in quality and quantity. Over all, it was a delightful stay.

MrVivere hotel in Alabama Philippines is one to consider when visiting the south of Metro Manila. It shows 5 star hotel in their website but it is truly just a 4 star hotel. Nice location and friendly staff are the hallmark of the hotel. Dated but clean hotel. Fitness area is small but can do the job. Recommended.

It was not endorse because its Holiday. We booked our parents for their 30th wedding anniversary, a package in Vivere Hotel and dinner in The Nest. Prior to their arrival, my sister and I settled everything. We have given instructions to our parents on what will they do and what will they expect... the taught of their celebration will be fun, relaxing and hassle free. Unfortunately after their dinner, restaurant made them paid for what they ate and on their way out, my parent heard someone from their table, saying.. ( Ay Butaw ) means ( No Tip ). I am sad. That night they sent a message for what had happened, I immediately called them after work. Though they were still giving me positives and they are still smiling, trying not to completely ruin their night. I called Vivere Hotel, trying to get an explanation on what happened then the lady put the call on hold, unknowingly she transferred me to another person. Then again, re-state what happened and to get an explanation why it occured. So I was passed to a Supervisor, again.. explain... Call was put on hold for minutes, got back to me and stated.. Sir, sorry. Hindi po kase na-endorse samin yung payment kase Holiday po ngayon, ( Feb. 25 ). Transaction was not endorse because its Holiday? Im tired... Thank You Vivere Hotel / The Nest.

Good hotel but bad entertainmentThe hotel is in a great location and the rooms, although dated, still are above some but the local competition is growing fast. The hotel is a wedding venue and therefore overrun at times so book early. The Nest rooftop bar has good staff with excellent service, the one issue, that friends and visitors have, is the Joey's Mood trio who are devastatingly loud. Background music should be in the background. No conversation can compete with the excessive noise. We generally eat outside and quieter hotels and venues. They have been there 20 years so controlling the blaring saxophone seems impossible. Revenue lost from the Nest due to this must be thousands of Pesos each night. I know we spent 10,000 on meals and drinks elsewhere and we are not alone and we eat out 3 - 4 times a week. The residents 7 days a week. Complaints have been made but no change in a year. Nice hotel, avoid the nest at night but during the day it has great views.
