  Excellent service

  Great location and great service. Breakfast was to a high standard. We did have a small room but as we only spent sleep time in there it was good. All was clean and facilities were good. No parking but carpark in windermere was only £7.40 for 15 hours..

  Brilliant stay for pet owners!

  Perfect retreat, ideal location just a stones throw away to all the local restaurants bars and attractions and 2 minute walk to lake Windermere. Host Graeme was very welcoming and accommodating, breakfast was lovely orders taken the night before and prepared fresh and plenty of options. Room was clean and tidy well presented plenty of space and treats for willow (the dog) on arrival. She loved her stay as much as me! Would highly recommend and will be back soon! Ben K

  Excellent overnight stay

  Excellent overnight stay in the Lake District.It was spotlessly clean and in excellent location with fantastic breakfast. The room was very comfortable with a recently refurbished bathroom. The host Graham was very friendly.

  Wow what a lovely place

  Graeme & Shirley were utterly professional with COVID, the location was just a short walk into town, the rooms (3) was spacious and very clean, four poster with loads of extras, we loved our stay, and will return very soon. Parking was a small issue, but Graemes local knowledge help us park free of charge for the whole weekend, and only a very short walk from the guest house. Great value for money and great customer service throughout.

  Comfy, cozy lovely food

  Myself and my partner stayed here and it was lovely from start to finish, we have traveled from a tier 3 area but he rang to confirm 3 days prior that we were travelling for work purposes and would still be staying. We greatly appreciated that he remained open as we were his solo booking due new travel restrictions and tier adjustments. The room was upgraded and was stunning with a jacuzzi bath and four poster bed it felt very luxurious for a work stay over. Graeme was very welcoming and helpful with off site parking and his full English breakfast was the perfect start to our day. He was very attentive and friendly and we will definitely visit again next year for a weekend as this is in the perfect location to experience the hustle and bustle of Bowness scenery.
