  Don't waste your money

  The carpet in the room was stain and not clean. The carpet the hall ways were also dirty. The door to the balcony was rusted and very hard to get open. The overall appearance of the interior was bad to said the least.

  Somehow worse than military barracks.

  It's bad, run down, pool not maintained, staff members were a mixed bag, peeling wallpaper, no hot water, awful smelling restaurant, microwave in room sounded like it was grinding rocks, etc, etc, etc. Pick an aspect of a good hotel and this one lacks it. Would not recommend.

  Sleeping bag on the boardwalk would've been better

  1. Really run down - rooms, pool, convention space - all of it. 2. Mold in my coffee maker . 3. Hurricane- NO auxiliary power, not in stairwells or hallways. Darkness. No hot water or power, had to get another hotel room and they refused to credit me. No communication whatsoever. 4. Staff and hotel is a joke. 5. I travel for work every week and I have never EVER had an experience this BAD! Good luck to Marriott turning this beast around!

  A renovation needing to happen;such a disappointment for a "resort hotel and conference" center

  Couldn't believe the bedroom was the first thing to see upon entering the room! No privacy and the evening and night noises in the hallway interfere with trying to sleep at any time of the day. You have to request a 'Do Not Disturb' sign--a copied paper with a hole in the middle and a copy of available channels. SERIOUSLY? The bathroom is small but clean and serviceable. The carpets were colorless and worn, the furniture dull, uncomfortable and outdated, the "kitchen" section had peeling walls and a microwave not flush within the space that it was situated. There was an industrial view (see pic) on the very small balcony (in fact the word balcony is bigger). Trying to get to the beach from the room was a confusing endeavor. Attempting to navigate the parking lot (especially when leaving through the narrow space and hope you don't ruin your car) was slow and uncertain. And watch out upon entering the lobby--you may trip and fall in the circles that are part of the floor after you open the doors. A suit waiting to happen, believe me! This is a hotel and conference center in desperate need of a makeover! I can't understand why this is still considered a future wedding or a conference venue! Not recommended! Do not consider. Do not make a reservation. Do not register for a room. You will may ending up regretting that you did.

  This hotel needs more attention to detail

  The Delta Hotel is attractive; what I would expect from a Marriott near a convention Center. However, the service left much to be desired. There was a coffee maker in the room, but only one paper cup, one package of coffee, and no creamer. Even after we asked for creamer, we did not get any. We asked for and received a noon checkout and had the "Do Not Disturb" sign outside the door, but room service still knocked on the door at 10:30 a.m.
