  RESERVA CANCELADA POR CIRUGIA DE APENDICITIS URGENTE

  EL Hotel no contempla situaciones de Pasajeros que viajamos desde muy lejos t sufrimos cosas inesperadas. Yo vivo en Uruguay y sufri una apendicitis aguda fui operado intentente cambiar las fechas y el Hotel me dio un tiempo limite de cambio del 24 de setiembre. Mi operacion fue el dìa 19 y hoy el cirujano me esta viendo para otorgarme el permiso para viajar. El hotel me cargo los costos de los dias reservados. Cuento con todos los certificados medicos correspondientes. FUE EL UNICO HOTEL QUE SE NEGO AL CAMBIO EN USA LAMENTABLE . PIENSENLO BIEN ANTES DE RESERVAR .

  Birthday stay at the Vintage

  I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Vintage. We were originally booked at the Villagio but was moved to the Vintage. At first I was slightly hesistant because I was so set on the original hotel. However, I am so glad I didn't cancel my reservation, because my stay at the Vintage was exactly what I needed and the staff was VERY accommodating to my requests.

  A bit disappointed in the Vintage House

  We were booked at the Villagio but received a call that we were being moved to the Vintage House since they were not ready to receive guests. After seeing the photos and reviews, we were onboard. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff members and check in was easy. The lobby area is gorgeous! There was also a spot to charge our EV which was great. When we entered the room, we went to unpack and couldn't find a dresser. So we had to live out of our suitcase which I thought was bizarre. I also had to work and there was no desk. I had booked a resort view and we ended up on the first floor facing the parking lot so this was a huge disappointment. Maybe there were only a few rooms available when they switched us over from the Villagio. The locations is awesome! Walking distance to everything in my favorite town in Napa Valley, Yountville. So this was a plus. The breakfast was provided at no charge but was a disappointment so we ended up tossing most of it and going elsewhere. The eggs needed salt and they did not provide any. The oatmeal tasted water based and was runny. The creamer for the coffee was curdled. The fresh fruit was good though. Overall, for the price point of about $600 a night, I would stay elsewhere next time. I have stayed at much nice places in Napa Valley for this price point but wanted to try out the Villagio since it was new. Oh well.

  Disappointing and Dirty

  We were really looking forward to our trip to Napa and were left nothing short of disappointed by Vintage House. Overall other than the lobby the whole place is in desperate need of a facelift - the rooms are filthy with grime along the skirting boards and fixtures. When attempting to draw a bath the water was full of black bits and upon further inspection it became clear that the bath tub jets were full of mould. There is no room service despite the phone having a room service button to dial. We found this odd given that all of their food facilities were closed that we couldnt even order a drink to our room. Breakfast was served in paper takeout boxes again we understood that given the current environment its not possible to have the food facilities open for the hotel. But serving oatmeal in a paper box just meant that it was leaking - so much packaging and really not what you would expect for a hotel charging north of $600 per night. At this rate I would have at least expected a proper plate! On Saturday morning we were woken at 7am by the sound of the leaf blower so decided to go into Yountville town which is beautiful and within walking distance. We asked for the room to be cleaned and returned a few hours later to find that the room had not been cleaned. By they time they knocked on our door they said they couldnt come in to clean the room because we had reentered! So we had no clean towels, an overflowing trash can and our last roll of toilet paper, or should I say tracing paper? The most concerning thing I want to flag is the lack of healthy and safety measures - at the pool we watched several people come and go throughout the day. Nobody came to clean anything, dirty glasses were left out for ages and there is no service at all. Nobody to offer you a drink or bring you a towel its like there are no staff at the facility at all. I hope this review is helpful for others overall we were disappointed to say the least and concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel given the current environment.

  Expected Better for $$$$ Spent

  We stayed at this location because of it's proximity to multiple wedding venues we were looking at. Unfortunately we had multiple noise issues (stairs outside of rooms are incredibly loud) and temperature control issues (thermostat would only pump heat at 1AM) that led to a horrible night of sleep when we had to be up early for our first appointment. For the money spent on one night, I would've expected more serenity and relaxation-sadly we had to rush to check out because we slept in later than planned to make up for the lack of sleep we got the night before.
