  Friday Evening Dinner

  A superb addition to the quality dining in Ballandean scene. Newly branded as the 'Vineyard on Ballandean' the team are doing a brilliant job and the hospitality is spot on. The menu is perfectly succinct without trying too hard and the kitchen is producing great quality in well executed dishes. Our compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The wine list is equally balanced with excellent local choices and a smattering of imported interests, but why would you when the local offerings are so good. The added bonus of a shuttle from/to Stanthorpe is the cherry on the top. Top notch service and good food to boot. You can't go wrong opting to dine at Vineyard on Ballandean. We'll be back to check out the accommodation.

  Fantastic

  Stayed here for 3 nights on a trip with friends. Cant fault it. Family run business and it shows. Thanks Errol & Simon for your gratuitous hospitality. Cottage was neat and tidy. Bed was comfortable. The restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Food and service sensational. Simon suggested a wine tour and organised which was a fantastic afternoon at Le Petite Mort winery. Highly recommended.

  Now called vineyard on Ballandean

  Richard Bransons chef from MakePeace island is in residence at the moment. Amazing chef, producing great food. Book ahead . The wine cellar is abit rundown at the moment..the local suppliers are out of stock! Seems like the tourists are buying up when they visit

  Lovely setting and very comfortable stay.

  Had booked an overnight stay but unfortunately the room was double booked by another company. Simon, who manages the property was very accommodating and offered us another room and managed to find us an extra night as well. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Very quiet location with occasional traffic noise during the day but nothing too annoying. As we were travelling during the Christmas holidays and COVID restrictions, eating choices were limited around the area and had to venture to Stanthorpe for a couple of meals. The resident cook was away on holidays so missed out on the excellent cuisine. Simon also organised a tour at Bent Road Winery which was an amazing experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

  Family Escape

  We stayed at Vineyard Cottages for a family winter escape. The rooms were nice and tidy, and included the standard coffee and tea, as well as a kitchenette. That served us well as we were able to make cereal for the kids in the morning before embarking on the day's adventures. There is a restaurant on site serving amazing food, in an even better atmosphere. The hosts were very welcoming, making us feel at home. The kids were invited to make their own milkshakes in the morning which was a nice touch. The place is close to everything - we were able to go on bike rides from the cottages to numerous wineries. The hosts were helpful in suggesting things to do in the area that were kids friendly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
