  Nos trataron fenomenal,repetiremos!

  Nos alojamos en Viña Romantica nuestra primera y ultima noche en Costa Rica.La verdad es que solo podemos mencionar cosas positivas del lugar y de su gente. Esta ubicado no muy lejos del aeropuerto de San Jose.Es una buena opcion para tomarlo como punto de partida al tour por Costa Rica. B & B pequeño y muy acogedor.Las habitaciones estan decoradas con mucho gusto,es de este tipo de sitios que sin ser de lo mas lujoso tiene un encanto especial que cuesta mucho encontrar.Las vistas al Volcan realmente impresionantes. Jovita nos trato como si fueramos de la familia,tuvimos la suerte de probar los mejores desayunos de Costa Rica! Que talento de mujer! Muchisimas gracias Jovita por tratarnos tan bien,transmitirnos un trocito de la Cultura Tica y.. por esos maravillosos desayunos y cenas! Pura vida!

  A warm and inviting first and last impression

  For what I paid our expectations surpassed in all areas. It was very warm and inviting up the hill away from the city but close enough to go to when ever we desired. The place was just as we desired everything was clean and spacious. We were only able to stay there for two months and would of preferred to double that. Listening to the birds in the morning and other sounds it was so relaxing. We take turns from staying at resorts and then renting, this was worth every nickel. The only thing I would of liked was a 50 inch flat screen TV ( there is a TV); however my partner was very happy they didn't:) The neighbors were absolutely wonderful. Its a hop skip and jump for fresh groceries, the fruit in C.R. is fabulous and restaurants The view was just what she said. I never met the owner in person but Sherry was so helpful and honest before we got there, when we were there and after we left, she actually gave us a full refund on our deposit. If and when we go back there I would without a moments hesitation stay there again if it was available. I would of given my stay a rating of 5 but I only give that to my 10 day cruises. Thanks again everyone at Romantica, I miss you already. I hope my review is helpful to all looking to stay there.

  Best vacation in 20 years.

  An E-ticket ride from the airport brought us to this quaint B&B. Close to a cantina with great margaritas well worth the short walk. Great dining in the front dining area or lounge on the back patio. Close to other events, we river rafted at Rio Tropicales and cruised on the Calypso Cruises. Great local foods, fresh fruits and a friendly courteous staff. Looking forward to our next trip, we will be back.

  Great b&b

  This place has been bought by someone else now. Brian is a chef, a very good one at that. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and efficient. No heat or air so come accordingly. The breakfasts were amazing. We had the opportunity to order whatever we wanted at a time that suited us, but that may not always be feasible for him. Overall we were fairly satisfied. Downgraded 1 star for location. It's not close to any attractions so you must travel by taxi/car everywhere. It is on the road to Poas, so if you book a tour be sure to verify if they'll pick you up at the hotel.

  Great second visit

  Had such a good stay the first visit we went back with family this time and was not disappointed at all. Great place to stay with good food, good rooms and close to many activities. You got to try Doka Coffee Tour. I recommend this place. Chef is good at working with special needs if notified upon arrival.
