  hotel y restaurante justo

  La verdad que por la zona tampoco hay mucho donde elegir. no son nada amables, pero la habitación es correcta, y el restaurante y bar, no están mal (café con leche están bien, por fin algún sitio en Inglaterra que no esta malisimo). esta limpio. y habitación muy antigua. hay salones de reuniones que están bien (en la calle de delante) qeu hay que pagar. Si vas en coche cuidado porque tendrás que pagar parking, en la calle no lo dejes es multa segura.

  Good service and a great location for our days out

  Very friendly staff and such a nice place. We just stayed the one night for dinner, bed and breakfast - dinner was very good and a nice log fire in the bar. It is right in the centre of town. We used as a base for trips to Stowe landscape gardens and then Bletchley Park. Car park underneath the building, just yards from reception.

  great value , room and food

  we were on a package including room and 3 course dinner. The hotel, unfortunately was almost empty, BUT, the staff still were friendly, the room was large ,the bed comfortable, the bath old but huge ! The choice of menu was very good and the 3 courses that we chose were all very well cooked and presented. The only criticism I could make would be the absence of a cooked breakfast ( although this was during covid tier 2 ) so maybe they normally do a cooked breakfast instead of the continental that we had. Overall, great value for the money we paid.

  Overall, very good

  Stayed here recently, having stayed here in the past. Glad I had stayed before so that I remembered the entrance to the car park! All the staff I met at reception or in dining that evening or next morning were helpful and friendly. Room was excellent. Very clean and spacious. Had a very pleasant evening meal. 3 course set menu with 4 choices for each course. Enjoyed all 3 courses. It did make me wonder the next morning why a cooked breakfast could not be provided (I was aware, as I was informed when I booked that only continental breakfast would be served) if they had been able to cook such high quality food the night before. I have to go back to the area in the new year and I will definitely try to go back.

  A good long stay...!

  These are uncertain times, my stay here got extended that it is the longest I have stayed in a hotel as of now and it was effortless only because of Tom, the manager. I was hesitant to keep staying but he made the stay smooth despite me constantly anxious of the uncertain situation. I have felt very safe, most important need now than anything else! Many thanks Tom for your kindness and also Bruce, Patricia, Devina and Sylvia, I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
