  Beach Suite - one week in heaven

  Me and my wife spent an awesome week in Seychelles recently. We took one of the Beach Suite which came with a lot of extras. Small private patio with rattan chairs and table, fully fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer, satellite tv, safe, air condition, large fan, lounge with extra seats and bed. The whole resort got its own beautiful rustic style and located straight on the beach. Only 10-15 meters(!) walk in the morning, you can chit-chat with local fishermen. For a little money they will sell and prepare fish for you, like barracuda, etc. The owner of the resort is a very decent person. He saw us buying fish and he prepared a home made creole marinate for our fish. Also, he let us use his bbq to cook it. The whole management including the cleaners are very nice, friendly. A very good team, everyone is working hard to make you happy there. We had breakfast every morning (omelette and bread/brioche with local marmalade, tea/coffee and a delicious fruit plate) Shops are literally on the other side of the road. You can buy anything you need. Also, there is a take away shop which is open twice a day. Local bus stop in front of the resort. The beach is very clean, maintained, mostly clear of seaweed. So in a nutshell, this place is a taker. Nice service, perfect location, friendly service and close to everything you need. We took a long walks on the roads and on the beach as well and I can tell you: couldnt find a better place. Defo will go back soon.

  Nice accommodation in Praslin

  We stayed in the garden villa which was about 2 minute walk to the beach. The Villa is very well laid out with a pool as an added bonus. Although the Villa was nice the beach was a huge let down as there were a lot of seaweed washed ashore and the water was also murky which also made swimming not possible. Nice restaurants just across the street and super markets nearby makes this a good self catering option.

  Beach suite - good accomodation

  We booked Beach suite with self catering option. Room itself was lovely, nice furniture, paintings etc. Kitchen supplies, microwave etc. Bathroom pretty much the sam but there is no hairdryer in the bathroom. Everything nice and clean. Staff really kind and helpfull. We stayed on the ground floor and the problem was that you could hear every step end every little noise from upstairs guests. The Suite has many windows and even you got curtains ( not blinds ) in the room is very bright in the morning and people can see you through it from outside , so there is no much privacy..because many people walking around. In the kitchen there is no curtains and one of the cameras is pointing directly to the kitchen window.. ( found that extremely wierd ) Be prepared to be awake around 7AM due too very noisy breakfast preperation in the main 'patio' breakfast area as the suite is based just next to it. Bed is very noisy and hard.. There is a supermarket directly front of property which is good for self catering guests. WIFI is 200 Rupees per stay.

  Decepción

  No nos gustó en varios aspectos y eso que tuvimos la mejor suite. En general necesita una reforma y una limpieza a fondo. La ducha estaba muy sucia: teníamos que ducharnos con chanclas. El secador de pelo estaba pegajoso, oxidado y muy sucio. El aire acondicionado goteaba encima de la cama. El colchón tendrían que cambiarlo, era muy incómodo, y además entraba luz y ruido en la habitación a todas horas.Los enchufes no están bien pegados en la pared. No había nadie para recibirnos cuando llegamos y tampoco durante la estancia. La piscina no invita al baño ya que su fundo estaba lleno de suciedad. No lo recomiendo por su baja relación calidad-precio. El desayuno era escaso y de mala calidad. El personal de limpieza era amable. Si pagas en negro (en efectivo), tienes un 10% de descuento.

  Disappointment!!!

  We actually got the nicest room by accident, the beach suite. We have a 2 years old daughter and we booked the accomodation on Agoda, also requested a cot for our toddler. As we arrived, the owner told us in a very rude manner that they dont accept children. Since we showed her our reservation, we could stay, but soon everything turned very bad. The upstairs apartman was extremely hot so we had to use the aircon. First day our toddler developed an eye infection, later I got a terrible throat pain. A guy came to repair the aircon since it was dropping water on my husband during night. When the guy opened the aircon, it was completely dirty, like if it was never ever cleaned. We mentioned that to the owner but she just said, she never had this problem. We met two other guests with similar health issues!!! Also, when we complained she offered another room which we looked at and kindly refused. We were already scared of the aircon and they said on the groundfloor you can not leave any window open because heroin addicts break in. Sounds lovely. Since we refused, the owner got frustrated and told us that we have to move because we will disturb other guests with the kid. We offered that we just leave if she refunds the rest of the nights but she refused. She even said that we should leave, without getting our money back, which is crazy since another 4 nights are paid for. All in all, I would never come back here even as a couple because it is not confortable and the owner is very very rude.
