Not Handicapped FriendlyWhen booking this room, we were very specific that I am on a walker and wheelchair due to a broken leg. I was assured that they had booked me in a room that would accommodate that. The room booked was on the other side of the hotel from the handicapped spaces (which is a long distance when you are on a walker) and, while the actual room and dressing area were great (very wide space, etc) the bathroom was anything but accessible. The doorframe and space is so small that I was unable to get in and out of the bathroom. With no ability to use the restroom or take showers, the price of $89/night seems a little steep. That being said, the room was extremely clean and the hotel was MUCH quieter than the Days Inn in hardy (where I have stayed before). If you have mobility issues, I wouldnt stay here; otherwise recommended!

Pleasant Overnight StayVery quiet location below the level of a nearby highway. . The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was somewhat limited but the breakfast area was adequate to handle guests.

LblahaUpon arrrival Hotel manager was very nice eve went as far as to tell us why she was no longer part of the best western hotels. Which was clearly that their expectations were too high for her. Initially everything was ok. Hotel is old and interior and exterior both need some improvements, but the room was clean. We are tv watchers and have the tv on well into the morning. Sometime around midnight the cable went out on the tv. We were scheduled to stay there two nights, in the morning we decided not to stay the second night . We went into the office in the morning to eat breakfast no one was at the desk the entire time we ate breakfast I checked the tv in the lobby which was about 9 am and it was not working either. We went back to the room to shower and pack up and get ready to leave. When I went to shower I could not get the hot water to work, the handle appeared stripped and all I could get was luke warm water. We went into the office to let them know we would not be staying another night and wanted to check out. The girl at the desk was extremely rude told us we would have to pay a $20 fee for leaving. At that point I told them the reasons for us leaving she did not care and ran our credit card for $20. As I began to discuss this with her the manager comes out and I explain to her while we were leaving and all she could say is why didnt you let us know, you didnt give us an opportunity to fix the problems, not one single im sorry, nothing at all!!! Said it would cost us $20 to leave. She was very argumentative that I had to walk out the door and let my husband handle the situation. She then refunded the wrong amount then agreed to split the difference on the fee to leave early. I do not recommend staying at this hotel

It's OkayStopped in they had a room for two $84.85. Not the best room in the world but good enough for the night. Breakfast the next morning was a prepackaged pastry. Check in was friendly and when I ask about the restaurant just down the road the person said see did not know if good as she had never been there. I liked here honesty.

no non-smoking roomsWe were tired from driving almost 1200 miles and chose Hardy, AR as our stop. The town's motels were operating with closed lobbys, so check in involved standing outside waiting for the clerk to get the information all in the computer and take my credit card. This took approximately 20 minutes and was $10 higher than the advertised price---before taxes. I requested a non-smoking room. The first room we were let into smelled like smoke terribly and I immediatetly called the office to get moved. She moved us to another room, and it was better but it still had a stale smoke smell. The place hasnt been updated in years and it is dirty and stinks. The beds were ok, slept fine. I would not recommend.
