  Village Gate House Whistler

  We were very happy with our stay at this resort. The unit was way larger than we had expected. The unit spanned 3 floors which isnt usually the case in whistler. We loved the location and the in suite hot tub. The only complaint is the lack of bike storage. It would be nice if the ski locker was available to store our bikes.

  Happy Happy Joy!

  Great for a slice of Whistler life experience. Village Gate House is right in the Village, and the units are huge and comfortable. We had a personal, private hot tub and a delicious steam tap installed in our master shower. Whistler Village is right outside your door and the condos are very low maintenance, secure and mostly quiet considering Whistler is a party town, so expect a few hoots and hollers extending well into the wee hours. Great for a getaway even in the off- season when the Village is slightly less bustle than usual. $15 per day resort fee is reasonable considering the free parking and all the amenities. Loved the recycling/compost bins and the reminders to be environmentally responsible. This is more like a homestay rather than a resort, so do not expect housekeeping or room service. Check- in is in Creekside, a little way down the road before you reach the Village, so take note of that! Very easy and comfortable. Coming again when we can.

  Village Gate House by Whiski Jack

  Absolutely brilliant apartment!!! A master bedroom with a king sized bed, hot tub, fireplace and steam room / shower on the second floor, a full kitchenette, living room with sofa bed, fireplace and dining room one the third floor, plus a loft with 2 single beds!!! Skis and snowboard storage on the ground floor. High security with door codes to enter the building and different codes for the apartment doors.

  Whats with the hot tub running continuously

  mid summer, Whistler, no air conditioning in the unit. Cools off at night but theres this hot tub that you cannot shut off, jets going continuously. Guess where its, in the master bedroom. We had to sleep on the couch just to get away from the noise, and not sleep very good. I asked if they could shut it off for tonigt, but the answer was, blab, balb, balb, NO. This place, not a repeat for me.

  nice cozy studio in the heart of whistler.

  perfect location in the middle of town . walk to mountain and all the restaurants. Easy to find . clean open concept . Great Shower with stream room which was a pleasant surprise. Good support when we needed it.
