  Nice place to stay

  Older resort but well kept and clean. Friendly staff. Fresh seafood market next door that will cook your fish - really good! Quiet location no night life close. Beautiful beach across the street. Nice pool and activities on the property.

  Village by the Gulf

  The staff was very friendly. The unit was big and clean, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice size living room. The kitchen was nice and had everything you needed to cook. They also offered bikes to ride around the area. If we had to say one least thing we didnt like it would be the bike chains were a little rusty looking. We asked the lady to have them checked and she did. Other than that everything was fine. There is so much to see around the area - plenty of bike and walking trails. Very good restaurants especially The Tin Top Restaurant and Mikees Seafood Restaurant. Awesome food and service. Theres Fort Morgan and the USS Alabama to visit as starters. I would recommend this place. There is so much to see and do. We will be going back.

  Village by the Gulf in Gulf Shores, AL.

  Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Beach is a short walk from resort. Bikes, basketball court, miniature golf and sandlot-playground located on property made it fun for child and adults. Property also has an outdoor pool. Shopping is only minutes from resort.

  Shoebox

  Our unit made me feel like we were in a shoebox. Views out the windows were of other buildings. Unit is dark do to sunlight not getting to the units windows. Miniature golf and shuffle board were either not functional or not up to basic standards. We were very disappointed with this unit and would definitely not recommend or return.

  Good place to stay, across the street from the beach

  Overall, we had a great time. Staff was friendly and we were lucky to get the first building across the street from the beach. he only downside from our partial deck view of the ocean, was that we were on the 3rd floor technically (parking under bldgs, 2nd then 3rd) and it was A LOT of stairs. We had a 3bd/2bath condo, a little dated but clean. The facility itself had a nice covered area with 2 grills and a restroom. The pool was small for the number of units and the mini golf didn't look to be in great shape, but we didn't play so don't really know. If we come back, we would definitely request a 2nd floor unit to save the knees but we totally enjoyed ourselves.
