AVOID AT ALL COSTSAbsolutely horrendous. Stuck up in this place instead of the 'sister' hotel we had booked (Hotel Village Panorama) for 3 nights. No air con, beds hard as board, dirty room with dead bugs and dust everywhere. Yes, the views are gorgeous-but you can get these views at plenty of other nice and clean hotels in Greece and you'll enjoy them more when you are getting what you pay for! Also we genuinely can't believe the good reviews-it's not the experience we or other people in the same situation had. Owner was incredibly rude, telling us we had no choice but to stay here and that we should have looked at the reviews on trip advisor before booking the Hotel Village Panorama because the scam where they 'overbook' then guests have to stay at her apartments is the norm and 'should have been expected'. True enough, lots of other guests did have the same experience as us,day in day out throughout our holiday. The whole thing experience was horrendous and absolutely not what you pay over £2000 on a holiday for. Save yourself the bother and avoid this place and the Hotel Village Panorama and book somewhere else where they provide the facilities and service you pay for!

Great accommodation at a great price! We had a great time at this place, the owners treated us like if we were part of their family. The food was delicious and the views from the pool and from our valcony were astonishing. There is also planty of space to park the car. I would definetly recommend it to anyone travelling to the area of Agia Pelagia or Ligaria Beach.

Old and Unacceptable roomsNot renovated or refurbished since 60s,old furniture, rusty kitchen equipment, old kitchen, bathroom, windows, dirty, not properly maintained. The beds really hard with old mattresses. Insects everywhere spiders, mosquitoes and ants. The room smelled bad. Surely not recommended for families unless low price is a criteria.

A Big Welcome in the HillsideThere REALLY is a welcome at Bellair Village. From the moment we arrive being greeted by Peggy and her freshly made lemonade, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms where fresh, clean & comfortable with incredible views of Agia Plegeia and the beach (which was a short walk down hill) exactly what you would expect from a Cretan apartment. Delicious homemade meals cooked by Romina to our individual requests each evening with no set eating times we where free to explore all day and return knowing we could relax and our meals would be ready when we where, we felt like part of the family. Peggy and Romina where both attentive and hospitable and welcomed us into the festivities and feasts. I can honestly say we had an amazing time at Bellair Village and would 100% recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so memorable

Superb experience at Bellair - definately recommendableTravelling from place to place throughout the island, we made a last minute reservation, via Booking, 5 minutes before we arrived (early evening) and were greeted by the family with open arms. Immaculately clean with stunning views over Agia Pelagia, the hotel is situated on a steep hill, 20 minutes downhill trod to the town and beach, therefore it's definitely handier to have a car. There is no set menu or set eating times (except breakfast) so whatever you would like to eat and when you would like to eat, is talked over with the lovely Romina. This gives such a free feeling and not only that, the food is 100% homemade and absolutely delicious. The hospitality of the family is wonderful. They strive to make sure you have the best holiday experience and I admit they really spoiled us. Whatever we needed was provided in an instant. Don't expect the trendiest hotel with all the gadgets to go with it. That is not what it is. There are no TV's in the room! This is a traditional, family run apart/hotel that focusses on hospitality and 1-1 service. You just become part of the family straight away. To compare the cost with the service, this is a diamond find which we were so lucky to stumble across. 100% recommended. Thank you Peggy and Romina for a wonderful experience. Deborah and Jeroen xx
