  An impossible bedroom!

  Hotels in Marburg are expensive so we booked this hotel which is 15 minutes by car from the city. It is a very pleasant hotel in a village outside the city. Breakfasts were fine as was the supper we had on the day we arrived. Unfortunately we would have done much better paying more and staying in the city. And our bedroom was diabolical: three rafters coming down to within a foot of the beds meant it was difficult to sleep for fear of a head injury

  Charming

  My mother and I chose this hotel as it was close to the area we were visiting on our genealogy trip. We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed them all. We were treated cordially, and enjoyed walking through the surrounding area. Be advised that there is a steep climb to your room, space is tight and a small bathroom, but everything was neat and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. This was a refreshing experience away from the hustle and bustle of larger hotels and towns. This hotel is not a place for those seeking entertainment and 24/7 service. It is a wonderful place from which to explore the countryside.
