  A beautiful tranquil retreat

  Just returned from our stay at the villa xanthippi apartments this is our second visit and once again was delighted with our accommodation . Xanthippi who is the owner of these apartments is a lovely friendly lady and nothing is too much trouble for her. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean with clean bedding and towels changed every other day. The apartments are set in beautiful tranquil gardens with a good sized swimming pool with stunning views . I would certainly recommend these apartments to anyone who wants an enjoyable relaxing stay with a beautiful beach within 5 mins walking distance and great amenities all nearby my husband and I will definitely be returning next year.

  Lovely

  Really good stay in Skiathos, Villa Xanthippi was lovely- very clean, well equipped, good pool and within walking distance to the beach and bus stop. The owner was really helpful and we had a lovely time. We chose not to hire a car but took the bus everywhere- really easy and lots of different beaches and the town was easily accessible.

  Great

  Xanthippi, Polly, Vassilsas and crew looked after us extremely well. Even going so far as to running us down to beach each day. They saw my dodgy leg and insisted that they would take me to the beach (ParaSkevi/stop 16) A great ten days we will always remember, efcharistó. Its perfectly located for the beach bars including Banboon. Tavernas and the bus running from Skiathos Town to Koukounaries beach.

  Beautiful oasis of calm

  Loved our time at the Villa Xanthippi. Lovely clean apartment with terrace overlooking beautiful gardens and the sea. Great WiFi. Close to fab beach and lots of tavernas - Jimmys in particular is really good. Only downside is the walk up and down the slope. It did feel dangerous at times going down - you have to concentrate on what youre doing, and its hard work walking up. The Villa is therefore not suited to anyone with mobility issues plus families with little ones. But great for everyone else!

  Perfect, peaceful stay

  We have just come back from a wonderful stay at Villa Xanthippi. The apartment was very clean and had a beautiful big terrace overlooking the gardens and sea. It was a joy to sit outside and relax after a long hike up to the villa. As mentioned in previous reviews this place is not for you if you have mobility or walking issues. It is on the top of a very steep hill and even though my husband and I are quite fit (in our 50's) we struggled with it, as we were going back and forth twice a day with bags etc, especially in the heat. If you have mobility/fitness issues then you would need a car. The Villa is really quiet, you cannot hear any traffic and the ladies running it were very helpful and made sure we had clean linen and towels. I would definately recommend as long as you can cope with the walking!!
