  Chaminda and his team provide an excellent level of service. The private villa sits in a pretty gated garden and has a great pool. We had a large family room with a sofa and TV downstairs and easy access to the pool. It was spotlessly clean and such a luxury to have so much space after hours and hours on the road and several nights in standard hotel rooms. You need a tuk tuk to get to the fort area but you just have to ask and one appears. Chaminda booked us on to a whale watching trip and couldn't do enough to help us. Breakfast was delicious and served under a tree by the pool. Would recommend Villa White Queen to anyone and would love to stay again.

  Villa White Queen

  Had wonderful stay at this villa. Built in a contemporary style with antique artifacts. It is big and spacious flanked by greenery on all sides. Their breakfast, amidst the lush greenery, is delectable and leaves you feeling satiated and looking forward to yet another sumptuous variety the next day. Pool though not deep, provides a respite from the humid climate of Galle. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming every evening in the pool. Overall this place has it's own captivating charm.

  A Perfect Oasis

  We arrived at this lovely villa, tucked away in a residential area, only to be locked down at the beginning of the pandemic. Unfortunately we weren't able to leave the property to explore Galle but the spacious lush grounds and very comfortable room provided a perfect oasis. Our suite was located on the second floor of the villa with a view of the garden. The queen sized bed had a high quality mattress, pillows and linens. There was a large wardrobe in the room for hanging clothes and a safe for valuables. The bathroom included plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a good hair dryer. There is air conditioning in the room but not in the bathroom which has ventilation to the outside like most properties in Sri Lanka. The gated property has been beautifully restored. The immaculate main house is striking and the landscaping provides a haven for birds and small wildlife. The dining area is open air and set towards the back of the property next to the pool. At night they light lanterns around the area and stream gentle music to create an idyllic setting. The entire staff were exceptional. They provided us with high quality meals and ensured that we were well care from the moment we arrived. They even went over and above to get us masks and gloves so that we could travel safely once we left. If you are looking for excellent hospitality in a charming upscale setting in the heart of Galle - this is the place. PS. There had a sweet well behaved puppy onsite while we were staying there.

  A Perfect Relaxed Stay

  Stayed at this lovely villa in their Suite for 2 nights at the beginning of Sept 2020, from the point of arrival the property was very impressive, well maintained, clean and friendly service and moreover very private. Gihan and the team were extremely friendly, helpful and ever-ready to be at our service when ever required. The food was delicious, tasty and even prepared to our own liking. The private villa stands on an fairly large plot surrounded by nice greenery and well maintained garden, the pool was clean but unfortunately not used due to bad weather. The only draw back or suggestion is that to equip the plunge pool in the suite with a jacuzzi and hot water.

  Totally worth the price!

  Villa White Queen has the most hospitable staff! The Manager Asitha was extremely accommodating of our every request and was always reachable for any assistance. Nirosha was super helpful as well! The greenery of the villa, cleanliness of the rooms, beautiful architecture, and tasteful antique furniture made us feel right at home. The pool was perfect and the ambience was very quiet and calming. The food was good and they prepared exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend the overall villa. You won't be disappointed.
