  Nice freindly hotel with lovely views

  Stayed for 5 days in August - very few English in this area which is no bad thing. Nice well maintained, very clean hotel with great staff and views. Lovely pool area with outdoor gym (never fancied jogging in 90 degrees but lots did). Has indoor spa but was too hot for us to go up there but looked very nice. Staff are very helpful as are owners. We ate 3 out of 5 nights in their restaurant which was very nice. Don't miss a visit to local restaurant Zenobi - about 1 mile from hotel and just amazing food. The rooms are basic but very clean and has everything you need - we had balcony with sea view which was nice - strange they have taken out minibars and ask you to pay to have one (cant see what they gain from 5 euros a day for a fridge). Has ping pong and football table and a nice friendly atmosphere - head down to Alba Adriatica for the best nearby beach. Nice stay will definitely stay again when in the area.

  Good food, friendly staff, feels like coming home

  The hotel is situated a few miles from the East coast of Italy. If you have a room with a terrace you will enjoy an amazing view, between the rolling hills you can spot the Adriatic Sea, the pool shares the same view. During your stay, you can ask for anything, the staff will always try to help you out. Breakfast is served outside and of excellent quality, it transcends the regular buffet you get in most of the hotels in Italy, with fresh orange juice and a wide variety of choice. In case you opt for having dinner in the hotel, you won't regret it. Authentic, full of taste at a very fair price. Rent a bike, a real Vespa or just relax in the wellness area and get yourself a massage or a facial treatment. It's really full service here. In a range of a one hour drive there is more then enough to visit to spend a 3 weeks holiday. Villages, cities, mountains, and of course the seaside. Enjoy local products, wine tasting and mingle with the friendly locals while having a coffee in a bar. You will be given all those tips of what to visit by the most friendly staff at the reception. Not to forget Sergio and Patrizia, owners of the hotel with a passion for their guests, you really get spoiled by them. Never met such a lovely people, always there to serve you. Can't imagine there is a better place to stay in the Abruzze, you have to go to Villa Susanna and find out yourself.

  Lovely hotel off the American tourist route

  This "wellness hotel" - meaning it includes a spa -- is situated in a small town in the hills above the Adriatic Sea in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are airy and though décor is spare, they are kept very clean and many have great views. The staff is kind, helpful and courteous, though not very proficient in English (heir usual clientele is German and East European). But they try hard to make visitors comfortable and content. The food is not overly complicated but is healthy and very, very good. As is the vino. Serenity is on order here, from the lovely grounds, the huge portico with comfortable outdoor furniture, and of course the spa. Two of us used the large spa room, following the instructions of a staff member who then left us alone to bask in the meditative benefits of the sauna, "salt room", Turkish bath/steam room, and much more. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who want s to try a lesser known part of Italy but do it in comfort and style!

  MAGICAL MAKES YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

  If you ever suffer stress, want to be away from everything, and get to know beautiful people, feel the italian magic of fine food and rest. This Spa Hotel will let you go to heaven. Get to know the real Italian feeling of being surrounded by olive trees and vines around you while walking a couple of miles to a medieval town....while having a view of the mediterranean sea....You got it. You even have the best wineries in Italy an hour away. The Hotel has the best inviting surroundings you could ever imagine. I always come back because its not only the well located hotel but what has to offer inside. Its got everything to make you feel at your best even in wionter time.   Amazing!

  This place is breathtaking. Besides the view it has of the Adriatic Sea, the entire Villa is just an amazing place. We only spent one night, but my husband and I will return to stay longer. It is near Alba Adriatica, so you can easily go to the beach during the day, and stay away from the crowded streets at night. It is very quite and relaxing place, ideal to stay with your couple for a romantic getaway. We did not have chance to try the spa, but I am sure it is also nice. 100% recommended!
