First and last visitBedroom: Basic room, very old fashioned decor. Squeaky floors, thin walls. Small bedroom, beds tightly squeezed in. Old fashioned bulky tv in the room. Only one socket available in the whole room if you need to charge phone etc. Not enough towels provided. No bin provided in the en-suite or bedroom - not hygienic. Welcome messages from the previous owners are still displayed in some rooms. Breakfast: Breakfast was basic continental and tables were tightly squeezed into the dining area. Other: Limited parking available. 30 minute walk to the town centre. Overall rating: Not good value for money. Would not stay again. New owners who are still learning the ropes of B&B management, the positive reviews here seem to be aimed at the previous owners of this B&B.

VSJ review - comf bed but noisy and tv didn't workI recently stayed one night at the Villa. I arrived and rang doorbell, phoned landline, phoned mobile and eventually another guest let me in. I wasn't waiting long but I was beginning to get worried, ditto when leaving I had to hang around till 8.10 in order to get hold of the owner so I could pay - advise paying the night before if you want to leave before 8.10. I was in a room which was classified as quiet as its away from the road but it is beside the bathroom and it has really noisy pipes whenever anyone uses it, I had to use ear plugs. I tried to watch some TV but the screens were all fuzzy and impossible to watch. Other than that the bed is comfy and its just a 20 min walk or so to town and was fine for one night.

Great PeopleSTAY HERE! After a issues with flights and being up for 60+ hours, I arrived at this B &B only to find out I had the wrong day! Seamus and his wife ( I can't remember her name at the moment) were more than helpful getting my group and I accommodated for the night. In the morning they were very friendly, and the wife had a great conversation with us and suggested many things for us to do along our route. The room was clean, and the beds were great. · The room was a little smaller than I am used too, but seems to be a common theme throughout Ireland. The fragrances used were a little overpowering.
