  Very Nice Hotel

  As I traveled from Kitzbühel to Salzburg touring Austria, a friend recommended I stay here and he did not lead me astray. Very nice property, friendly and competent staff, and appeared to have a great spa, but I did not have time to enjoy! Rooms were modern and clean in the newer section and my view was charming.

  Not impressive

  My husband and I were taking a long road trip and thought this would be a nice quiet place to stay. While the room was modern and clean, the hotel overall lacked character. The room was adequate. The breakfast was not impressive at all for this type of hotel. The staff was professional. The indoor pool was nice. Other than that I really didn't find it memorable in any way. For the price I would have had higher expectations.

  Fairly expensive but a good stay

  The history of the place is so amazing but it is quite expensive. It is writing walking distance of everything within bad Ischl. The staff is very helpful and knows English. Breakfast is quite big as well.

  very nice stay once more

  it has been now already our fourth trip to Villa Seilern, and we were happy again. Friendly welcome, clean room with nice view, tasty dinner. Only negative point was that one of the saunas was out of service during our stay

  Mattress topper is available ....

  First impression of the room: mattress tooo firm, backbreaking. But they have toppers available , But ask for them If necessary make reservations when you book here. The hotel makes money out of the nearby congress center, congresses up to 300-400 persons. Fifty minutes from Salzburg AirPort by car. Good parking facilities , five minutes walking from downtown. Breakfast is curious, guests who stay longer have their OWN tables, dont break the rules.... This is outdated , I was extreme irritated by this, a window table is quite impossible even If those reserved tables are used already. We broke this, I have never seen this before... dass hier ist meine Tisch!!. We spended 4 nights here, 2 for Austrian IBD congress and 2 extra for a short Holiday , Nice area, Nice people. Organise enough mattress toppers, reorganise your overdone table reservations system for breakfast. Last message: organize tea and coffee maker on the rooms, give waterbottles in the room. Final conclusion: Probably still the best business hotel in the city. But improve....
