What a findCharming little place and excellent value. Bit if a trek to sea front but with the boris bikes, bus and tram it's easy to get around. Also great local restaurants which are so much cheaper than in town. Highly recommended.

NEVER EVER GO NEAR THIS HELL HOLE.DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU. My friend and I payed to stay here for 4 nights, we stayed for approximately half an hour and that was only because the owner forced us into our room after taking our luggage from us. We were forced to sit outside in the blistering heat amongst the dog poo, piles of rancid laundry and general household waste whilst the owner "prepared" our room. Whilst at the "villa" we received an email from booking.com, who we booked with, to say that the owner had notified them that we were a no show. We were extremely cautions of the owner before the email, but that just made us even more weary. Due to the series of events that proceeded the email, we fully believe that the owner's intentions with us was to hold us against our will. Our room, whilst been dark, damp and absolutely vile, was the least of our worries. Once in our room the owner, offered us "juice". Nice as this may seem, it was not. She got extremely frustrated and aggressive when we politely refused. She demanded that we drink the juice and insisted that we had to go to sleep as we had had a "long day", even though it was only midday. After shouting "goodnight" in my friend's face and slamming the door, she stayed outside our door for half an hour listening to our conversation. After the shadow of her feet had moved from underneath our door, we collected our bags and ran. I have never feared for my life so much in such a short space of time. The pictures on this website are not even remotely similar to the hell hole that we were meant to stay in. I seriously recommend an inspection of this "hotel" and it's staff. This review may sound like a joke and an exaggeration, but I am being fully honest and this does not justify how horrifying our experience was. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Like a horror filmWe arrived late at night having previously phoned the hotel. Upon arrival the hotel instantly reminded us of a haunted house with its gaunt look and dim exterior lighting. We where greeted by a woman, who although kind had a creepiness about her that was rather frightening. Being shown to our room on the ground floor we found the door to the room would not lock and to make matters worse the window in the room would not even close and only had net curtains. Meaning that anyone could easily have broken in. The bathroom in the room was clean and tidy but the bed uncomfortable; because of the safety we slept cuddling our bags. In the morning we recieved breakfast which we wolfed down and left as soon as possible. I would not recommend this hotel and it was one of the worst nights of my life!

Cosy Bed and BreakfastThis is a nice bed and breakfast and Ms Anne the host went above and beyond. The breakfast was very good and wholesome with eggs made to order & cold meats served in a really cute garden under a lemon tree! The bus stop is few steps away with very frequent buses. The beach is a short bus ride away, and we got the 5 full day bus pass which worked very well to get to the beach and into town every evening. The tram station is not too far either and buses are available from there to the Villa. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants, bars and grocery stores selling exotic fruits around. We enjoyed our stay in what was a typical home in Nice. Very good value for the money charged.

Charges Credit Card Without ApprovalStayed here in June and the woman that runs this is place is crazy. She charged my credit card before I arrived, even though the receipt says 10am in the morning. She then started charging me for breakfast on my credit card which had already been paid for. I had to eventually cancel the card because I was so worried she would keep charging my card without my authorisation. The location is quite far from the beach and fairly long walk uphill. Also the food is not nice, we ended up skipping breakfast after she pulled out grotty open food out of the fridge and cupboard - we pretended to eat it, then went to the nearest bakery for some proper food. Honestly, it was horrible. She thought we couldn't understand French and from our room upstairs we could here her ranting about us saying that we are horrible guests and that she couldn't wait until we left. This is not a way to run a bed and breakfast. It also spoiled my time in Nice and I'm not sure whether I will come back to the city, it was a very disappointing end to our 2 1/2 weeks in France.
