  A relaxing place in the middle of nowhere

  The Villa Santai is located at about 15 min from ubud center which makes it quite convenient for those who want a bit a countryside with the option of being able to dinner in the downtown. I really appreciated the view from the main area. You can play with your friends and relax by the pool. The pool is a bit small but still you can swim back and forth and profit from the astonishing view of the jungle in front of view. Despite the many good points I found the villa a bit old and need to be refreshed. When you stay for several days you start noticing all the bad things about the villa. The villa is definitely not a 4 star on the asian standards it's rather a 3 stars, I'll let you judge by yourself, have a look at the furniture and the finitions. Though the staff was kind and care taking especially Janur and Wayan the driver. Globally even though it s rather a 3 stars for me, we spent a great time in this villa and definitely recommend it. Nota bene: by the end of our stay we decided to pay our expenses separately which seemed to bother the manager. He left during the billing moment with an unfriendly face which left us with a bitter souvenir.

  Beautiful place and sorroundings

  Lovely place, peaceful surroundings and lovely staff. You wake up to beautiful sounds of birds and the river running by, if lucky the waterfall across can also be heard. These pictures are dated as it looks different now. You however have to be comfortable with bugs, insects and lizards, (small ones) There was no public transport but owner provides transport from airport and you can make arrangements with Taxi to pick you up daily for a very reasonable price to wherever you want. They will stay with you all day. Meals can be cooked for you there too but I didnt enjoy them. I would recommend

  Amazing Holiday

  Sad to leave , Myself & Friends were luck to have 7 nights in a 2 bedroom Villa Great location not far from Seminyak with the free shuttle drop off & pick up each day Very relaxing, the staff were amazing from the front desk to the kitchen Very day was a pleasure, would definitely recommend

  Fantastico

  Hace cinco días que llegamos y aún nos quedan dos en esta villa maravillosa en medio de la foresta. Alquilamos las 4 habitaciones para la familia y estamos encantados. El personal es súper. El desayuno muy bueno servido en un lugar ideal. Las habitaciones tiene todas ropero enorme y baño privado. Las camas todas con antimosquitos. La villa pone a servicio un chófer, naturalmente de pago. La noche te arrula el runrún del agua de un río que pasa a unos metros debajo de la villa.

  Santai Excellent for Family & Couples..

  Santai I had opportunity to stay with my family friends' stayed for 1 day but I feel I may have stayed for longer period.Staff is so lovely u will melt on it..the pool is beautiful.if u are 3 families for 3 bed room pool villa ..its has own kitchenette so u can prepare on ur own..Food Breakfast is awesome with varieties..If u want to Relax ur mInd soul u should visit Santai...
