    Very comfy stay

Would definitely recommend this bijou room only accommodation. Whilst the rooms are not massive, what they do provide is everything you require for a very pleasant stay. 5 rooms in total, (one on ground floor). The beds were extremely comfy; an extra pillow was provided when requested. There was a kettle, cups and fridge. The shower was brilliant; no issues with loss of hot water and it had power also. During our 10 day stay the towels and sheets were replaced half way. There was working air con and Wi-Fi (both free of charge). Spare key can be provided after 10am on day of departure if you have a late flight to collect luggage/use toilet. Not sure if there was a parasol for the table and chairs on the roof terrace but definitely would benefit from one; (and maybe a couple of fold up sunloungers) . Just a suggestion Antè. As for the location; slap bang in the centre of the old town of Trogir. A plethora of restaurants/bars and shops await but most of all an array of historic buildings, which are a delight to see. It's a bit like a maze when you first arrive but you soon find your way . You might like to take some shoes with grip if rain is expected as the shiny cobbled stones can be rather slippy when wet.  Our favourite restaurant was Kristian's; the prices were very reasonable with excellent quality food; they also genuinely appreciate your visit. Antè was very quick to respond if I emailed him for any reason. Antè It was a pleasure to stay in your accommodation and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

    Perfect

What a great little spot this little family run property is! Not just because its central, clean and comfortable, but because of the people that run it. The owner Ante, was one of the most pleasant and helpful hosts Ive encountered on my many travels. He met us late at night when we arrived to show us to our room, organised transfers for us to and from the airport, and on our last day we had to check out at 10am but he gave us a spare key to access the property as our flight wasnt until 10pm. This meant we could leave our luggage in the lobby and use the toilet as and when we needed to. As it happens we didnt need to as we got a water taxi into Split and spent the day there, but I found this extremely thoughtful and accommodating of Ante. The rooms are small but perfect for all we needed, which was a place to shower and sleep basically. They have little fridges for anything you want to keep cold (wine ) and ample storage for clothes. Window shutters keep the room very dark so you can get a good nights sleep, and the location of the property, although central, is very quiet so there is little disturbance throughout the night. There is also a terrace on the roof which we checked out but didnt actually use because we spent most of our days exploring and nights eating and drinking. If you are going to Trogir, stay in Villa Ruzica and Ante will make sure you are looked after. Thanks for a great first visit to Croatia Ante and family! Hopefully we will see you again soon

    Amazing location and wonderful hosts

Weve just come back from a 5 night stay and were slightly apprehensive about staying somewhere during the pandemic. The rooms and lobby area were spotless. The hosts greeted us with masks and there was hand sanitizer available for use whenever wanted. The room was clean, comfortable and had all that we needed. The free parking was a great asset (no that its about a 10min walk from the villa itself) and was very safe and secure. The WiFi in the room was intermittent but strong enough for browsing. Location was great. Walkable to all bars and restaurants on Trogir island. We also walked to the beach (25mins) and good a ferry to split. All advice from the hosts were welcomed and communication via WhatsApp was very easy. The hosts were very friendly and we felt it was a great addition to our stay getting to know the hosts so well. Overall a great stay and wed love to stay again if we can return soon!

    Very good Sobe accommodation

The owner was very good with pre visit communications and arranged our transfer from the airport. Excellent location right in town and a stones throw from everything but far enough away that it was lovely and quiet. It was very clean on arrival, the room was compact but the beds were comfortable and the shower was great as was the fridge and the air con. The limited storage space would benefit from a couple of hooks on the back of the doors. The WiFi was very slow even though the router was outside the room. It is however not a hotel so whilst there is a kettle and mugs there are no tea and coffee provided. The rooms do not get serviced for your stay so you make your own bed, the small towels and linen are not changed or the bins emptied. If we had known we would have been prepared so this took the edge off of the experience but if we did go back we would be prepared and if you are then it is great value in an excellent location.
