nice welcomeI was here in low season and restaurant was closed on the day; however, the owner was so nice to organize some food for me so I did no need to drive around to find a restaurant. The room was nice and comfortable as usual. I will be back next time I am in this area

Friendly hotel in a beautiful settingThis hotel stands in a beautiful garden and when we went in June, the lilac jacaranda trees were in flower by the pool. The rooms are charming with pretty painted ceilings. We ate in both nights, the dinner the first night was better and the almond parfait was delicious. The second night the dinner was less memorable but the opportunity to sit in a lovely courtyard with large stone walls made up for it. A great place to stay to visit Selinunte which has an almost complete Greek temple with fabulous views of the sea

A memorable return visitWe stayed for two nights at the end of May 2018. This was our second visit and once again we were more than happy. The rooms are fine (although some of the furniture could do with updating) and very reasonably priced. What really makes the hotel is its setting in mature grounds (with fine pool) and dining alfresco. Dinner in the old courtyard is an experience to be savoured. On both evenings (it was early in the season) we were the sole diners; it was like having our own private villa. The food is excellent and the service faultless and unobtrusive.

Fabulous Four Days!Having left early from a lousy hotel we were fortunate to spend four great days at Palocla. Nothing is too much trouble for the extended family that run the place. From the moment we called in and enquired about a room to the day we left everything was great. Lovely room, superb bathroom and shower. Breakfast wonderful, good choice and served with interest and care.We had dinner twice as well and the food was exceptional. Spent two afternoons at the swimming pool...very nice indeed...Signore Mimo serving us ice cold water. Could not speak more highly of Villa Pacloca...small hotel, big, big heart!

Disappointing!Alter driving a long way we were looking forward to arriving there to relax by the pool....when we arrived the staff was busy preparing an event, the whole area was dedicated to it , it was impossible to reach the pool and they suggested we could have dinner in front of the entrance door as all the gardens were dedicated to the huge party! When we asked about a possible very noisy night for us they didnt care. Still we agreed to see the bedroom... its a scam! Very small, difficult for two people to be in there at the same time, no air conditioning. Old and not well kept, all in all very depressing, and very expensive as they charge you 100 euros a night!! Even if we were tired and it was almost 8 we decided to leave and try to find another place. Dont go there
